Food was okay but the service was mediocre. The server “welcomed” us a with long face. Maybe it’s the Italian tradition to be unfriendly and impatient to their patrons? The server didn’t bother to refill my glass, I had to ask him to refill once. After emptying my glass I just put this glass here and just a to prove that it’s actually their tradition to not fill their patrons’ glasses.
There was a table by the window and we would like to take it, but someone looked like the manager told us it’s reserved. But it was not seated and split until we left. And my sister noticed they asked another patrons if they want to move to a window table (the very same table we wanted)
It was not hard to feel their snobbishness. We brought our sisters to visit only to find they were not happy at the service at all.
When their manager came to and ask if everything’s okay, I told him it was “just so so”. He didn’t bother to ask why but to joke that with the server.
They didn’t bother to ask anything until he received his “evaluation” - zero pourboire. If you read this now you now know the answer. Have the worst day, servers.

Our dinner was amazing and the staff were so friendly and sweet. We had the peppers and sausage to start which was so delicious. My husband had pasta and I ordered the lamb. We were both so happy with our meals. The lamb was perfectly done and quite a generous portion. Great wine list too. Cant say enough about it. Definitely worth checking out!

What a wonderful experience! Owner went above and beyond to make sure we were satisfied. From the complimentary sausage and bread for starters, to offering to make us a type pasta we discovered in Rome and wasn't on the menu, to the courteous service, we will certainly be back and tell our friends about this gem.

We found this restaurant because all of Little Italy was closed until after New Years and were so glad we did. Spicy shrimp was terrific and my son loved the filet mignon. Everything was delicious and the waiter did a great job of making suggestions.

I am visiting Montreal on business and had the pleasure of dining at this beautiful restaurant two nights in a row. Both nights the food was incredible and the service was amazing. I will make it a point to visit again whenever I am in town. It is the perfect place to bring clients. The food and atmosphere are incredible!

I organized a party of 30 for my wife's b'day. The food was very tasty and the portions were generous. Many of the guests mentionned how much they liked their meal, the place and the service. I highly recommend Boccone Bistrorante.
