We went to pizzeria Gema, as we read online it is the best pizza in Montreal. So we went with high expectations, unfortunately it did not meet our expectation. Don't get me wrong very good pizza but is it the best, that is a hard NO.

Love the ambiance and the friendliness of the staff. We ordered two pizza's and a bottle of wine, everything was delicious and food came out fairly quickly. Highly recommended if you're eating in little Italy.
We’ve been to Gema several times and always had a great experience. Many unique pizza flavors (get the Affumicata), tasty, well-fermented dough, and a large selection of natural wines. They also have soft serve made in house!

Ordered to go. The pizza was OK, even pretty good. But we got a salad and the lettuce was dirty. We brought it back, and the girl at the counter insisted it was just the dressing. We didn’t want to argue, but it was definitely dirt. This was a $13 salad…Disappointing.
