Favorite breakfast/lunch spot in Montreal! The pancakes were the best I've had. My kids loved their meal as well. Service was friendly and fast. The space itself is super beautiful. Highly recommended!!!
Great experience, friendly staff, good food, when full a bit noisy.... maybe not the best place for a Sunday brunch first date.
This is one of my favourite breakfast/brunch joints in the city. Everything is so delicious, I can never get enough. At times I’ve waited close to two hours. If you don’t want to wait long, go during opening or you can always order your food online and eat it at the park nearby if the weathers nice (can still take some time to get your food). When they don’t have their patio, the indoor seating can be very tight. However, the atmosphere is cute and cozy. All their sandwiches are incredible (especially their breakfast, chicken, salami and salmon). Their pancakes and cookies are UNREAL. My all time favourite dish has to be their Moroccan Toast.
The waiting time was an hour (we went on a Saturday at 10:30 am). The food took a while to aririve, but once it did, it was worth the wait.
We got the grand slam, Moroccan bread, and French fries. They were all delicious.
We ordered pancakes. They took 45 minutes, and they never arrived. However, they were nice about it and gave us a complimentary waffle instead, which was delicious as well.
The staff is amazing, but I would not recommend sitting outdoor. There was too much pollen, and the flowers were falling on our glasses (far less romantic than it sounds).
Also, I would recommend getting tennis balls and rackets to waste time while waiting for the table. You do have to book the tennis courts though.
Overall, I would come here again as I had a positive experience
Waited about 35 minutes for a seat at the bar for 2 - and we both had the Grand Slam. Not sure if that was the best thing to get on the menu since I wasn't overly excited with the dish as a whole. The pancakes were delicious (definitely get their pancakes!) and the bacon was tasty. The batter on the fried chicken was a bit off for me, but the chicken was moist and the hot sauce was pretty tasty as well, but I feel like it would have been better on a waffle. The sunny side egg was a bit too runny for me, but all in all, it was a great experience and the staff there were amazing and friendly!
Went to get some breakfast there pretty last minute as i was walking around the neighbourhood. Came in and i looked pretty lost but one of the staff was very nice and welcoming and helped me with what to order. Such a lovely service with amazing staff members, it's a first for me and i felt positively overwhelmed. It was pretty crowded when i came in but the staff made sure i was seated and served without holding up anything. Recommending me their amazing fluffy pancakes (TO DIE FOR!) and a mouth warming hot cup of coco, it was delicious! They were very patient with me and made sure i enjoyed my food, and i did. I definitely do recommend this place. First time eating there and it was an incredible experience. I'll make sure to be back with my sister and make her enjoy the vibe of the beautiful restaurant. Feels nice to have such great food and service in the neighbourhood! <3
One of the best places in montreal for brunch! There is ALWAYS a wait for a table so don’t be surprised - but, there’s a wait for a reason! I had a 20 minute wait after arriving at 9:30am on a Sunday. There’s a great park across the street, so just plan your visit accordingly.
The food is always amazing. I don’t think they’ve increased their prices recently which is kinda incredible! The price for quality can’t be beat. Pro tip, get a side/half order of the pancakes to share! On our most recent visit we had 2 eggs & salamis, a filtered coffee, a cold brew, with a side of pancakes and the bill came to ~$60.
Shout out to our server, Annie, she was excellent! Super bubbly, attentive & constantly hustling! I also appreciated that she told us up front that the food would be about a 25 minute wait - ended up coming out super quick anyhow, but appreciated the heads up nonetheless!
Keep up the good work Arthur’s! 💗
Delicious breakfast spot. Hip space with a medium sized menu and good coffee. Definitely get the syrniki - like a ricotta pancake but so much more delicious. Actually get anything you want because everything we had was delicious. It may sound odd but splurge on the 1/2 grapefruit- it is breakfast perfection, sweet, juicy, vitamin c with some chia crunch and cinnamon sugar sweetness.
We visited on a Sunday and it was Mother’s Day so the expected wait time was 2 hours. It ended being 1.5, but be prepared to wait if you’re going for brunch.
The service was okay considering how busy the place was. We ordered the Grand Slam and the Moroccan Toast and both were really big portions. The chicken was not coated evenly with the Nashville hot sauce but both dishes were really good.
I would come back on a less busy day and hope to get the food at its peak because the potential is clearly there.
Why do I like sorry LOVE Arthur’s nosh? Why do I line up for at least a hour to get in? This grand slam brunch plate is a grand slam in your mouth. It’s a tad spicy for people who can only handle mild food. The chicken is fried so beautifully and it has a wonderful crunch even with the hot sauce and maple syrup on it. I highly highly recommend going even with the wait. I’ve gotten the Moroccan toast and the McArthur which were also very tasty. If you’re stopping for a quick sec, their cream cheese sugar cookies are also a yummy treat.
