Amazing food and great decor too. One of the few restaurants where eating by yourself is just as good (if not better) than being with people because of how relaxed and comfortable the mood in that place is.
The dumplings ("tori gyoza" on the menu) were out of this word and their Pekin duck was even better. Also tried 6 of their 7 cocktails and they were all fantastic with the "Eastarita" being my favourite. Dessert was awesome as well but the portion was too small (I had the hazelnut-passion fruit).
All in all, the EAST was fantastic and I'll be going back there in the future.

The meal was excellent and my server did an outstanding job. I will definitely eat there again the next time I'm in Montreal.

Tous les restaurants du Groupe Satori sont excellents ! Le EASTmtl est le meilleur selon moi, avec son service hors pair et son menu diversifé mais surtout goûteux! Bravo à toute l'équipe!

Dim sum was great! Appetizers were tasty! Main dishes were wonderful! Drinks were original and leaving you wanting more! Nothing more you can ask for in a restaurant.
