Review Beni Hana Cuisine Japonaise - Montreal

Wow!!! While it isn't an official Benihana steakhouse chain, it IS just as good, if not better! The food was delicious, and the service from all parties (chef, server, hostess, you name it) was exceptional. We will always remember our very special hibachi experience that this team provided ♥️😄

Great service both from the chef and waitress which made for a really great mood. The chef was very skilled and friendly and the food was absolutely delicious. It’s also a very nice pleasant and spacious setting. So much fun and definitely worth the price!

Delicious again, and good job.

I haven’t been at Beni Hana in a long time but still enjoyed it as the last time. Good food, good service and good chef. I would recommend it at least once. My family enjoyed it!

Hosted my daughter's Sweet 16 party there with a group of 14 young women. The food is top notch and the ambiance and service is "Amazing". You are going there for a show, you will not be disappointed.

Not worth the price. You have limited food options that are overly basic and had no favour to it at all. The price was not even worth the experience.

I was in that area and remembered that someone had told me to go eat there because they had good sushi. Well I don't remember who that person was but I suppose they weren't a really good friend because the food was horrible and my good friends don't eat horrible food. (!!!) Service was really ordinary, the waitress didn't seem to know much about sushi and couldn't answer our questions. Overrated place.

Thank you for the good times. Thank you Beni Hana for always being there for special get togethers, birthday celebrations, business lunches and even romantic dinners! In my opinion you have the absolute best teppanyaki in the city and did I mention delicious sushi too! My kids always have an amazing time when they come to the restaurant and absolutely love the new menu hats - I can't get them to take them off at home sometimes. Keep doing what you're doing and thank you for the memories!

Best restaurant!. Best avocado sushi ever and the chicken teriyaki was impressive as well. This is the first time my family ate here while on vacation in Montreal. We ate there a couple of days ago and we are still thinking of the awesome meal...yum! It will be hard to find a place to top this meal. The atmosphere and staff was awesome. Two thumbs up!

Teppanyaki grill was entertaining + our filet mignon was cooked to perfection! Also had Sushi & gyozas as appetizers. All were fresh & tasty! :)

Not a real japanese taste. Went there for my mom's birthday.. Had high expectations from all the reviews and such. But online reviews can only be so precise you know? There is a limit to it.

The cooks, they don't have the professionalism of a the cuisine style. Not their fault. They're merely just cooks that tries to entertain you with juggling, singing and low taste jokes. Teppenyaki is supposed to be cook like a piece of super precise art and class. This place does not deliver at the steep price they charge per head. Outside Montreal say in Toronto, you get all you eat meat and sushi with triple the selection of meats at the same price.

Here, you get a scare choice of meat, bean sprout, rice... Bean sprouts does not belong in a fried rice. THE END. I'm sorry, but this is a place for non-asian people. A place only a Westerner will enjoy.

So if you're asian, you won't like it.
If you're non-asian, 85% you'll like.

The quality of food is about the same as the ones you get in shopping mall food courts. But you pay an extra 15$ for a seat and an actor/cook.

This is an honest review.

I still liked my evening but, for the price, I think beni Hana needs a little taste update . Everything was well cook and served well but it was somehow a little blend in our plates. I would call that a lack of " zyngn" lol Asian cusuine is getting great in Mtl , I think they should get worried of that ;)

Awesome Experience|. I hosted my bday there and had such a great time with my friends. We were 10 people and had a teppanyaki grill to ourselves. The server was friendly and the chef was really entertaining. The chef performed some tricks and sang current popular songs. I started with a Beni Hana cocktail which is a Pina Colada and I got to keep the glass. The filet mignon was tender and cooked to my liking at medium rare. An overall great evening with friends. I Looking forward to my next visit!

Worse Japanese Teppan ever... I can't remember when I have had worse Japanese teppan. I have been to many Teppan restaurants outside of Montreal, this one was not impressive.

The tempura was a nice large portion and was pretty good, however the meal was cooked horribly, the rice was undercooked in some areas, burnt in others, and the beef eventhough cooked properly was tough.

Hard to believe this place has such a good reputation.
