It was my first time at Mr Ma Szechuan and it was such a wholesome experience. The food was absolutely incredible! Best general tao I’ve ever had! The service was the best I’ve ever had in my life! The staff was so friendly and kind, it made the experience that much more perfect. I would give it 10 stars if I could, highly recommend!

You may be like me, in thinking that this kind of Chinese food had long disappeared from the landscape. By that I mean perfectly prepared Szechuan/Cantonese of the North American variety, with an emphasis on impeccably fresh ingredients, served by truly professional waitstaff. You’ll find all of that here. A recent dinner was as good as I have found in Montreal in a long time. Highly recommended.

The best Szechuan in Montreal isn’t in China Town. Service, quality, ambiance!! We were shocked this was our first time. Very very happy we came, and found a new go-to!! It was lovely.
