This is a nice trendy sushi place. Love the decor of the restaurant. The sushi is excellent. The fish is so fresh that it just melt when you put in on your tongue. I easily recommend this place to eat sushi. Expect to spend at least 35-40$/person but the quality of the sushi is

Super yummy and the toppings on the sushi were greaaat. Flavors I've never tried before. Also, the decor and atmosphere is too, too perfect. Definitely recommend!

The food is always so fresh and delicious. My father works in the fish business, so I am familiar with high quality fish, and this place has it! I have eaten here so many times and I am never disappointed.

🍽Food: 4/5 📍Place: 4/5 🤵Service: 5/5 💵Price: 4/5 At the price you pay you expect good and fresh sushi and so it was. Anyone would enjoy it for sure, especially at summer when the tents are installed outside. Although, I would avoid the wagyu roll, very small portion and not special at all. Miso soup was exceptional.

It was good, menu is a little bit limited to just sushi bar. Food was really good, the salmon roll with truffle oil was fantastic

Ahhh Ryu! What a delicious sushi restaurant! Diversified sake list, the truffle sushi to the organic salmon, it is absolutely a treat! Expect nothing less than a high quality restaurant with just an awesome staff! Their cool and pretty laid back! It is in downtown. I would recommend walking here and not park your car (you’re not far from a paid parking lot or underground parking lot). It’s basically 2-3 minutes away from Peel Station (if you’re new to Montreal, finding the exist will be tricky at first). Their lunch menu exclusively has divine poké bowls and I would totally recommend this restaurant. You can give it a try one time and you’d be the judge of it! Definitely worth visiting!

If you are looking for fresh sushi with amazing customer service and delicious drink Ryu is the place for you. The staff is super friendly, they answer any question that you may have and they explain the type of fish they bring. Some might say it's on the pricey side but if you put it on a balance with the quality of food you are getting it's not expensive at all.I will definitely be coming back. 🤤🍣

This is the spot for fatty tuna! They keep it honest here, with few pricey gimmicks. They stick to the excellent fish they work with so well, and provide a broad array of presentations and preparations for them. My only regret is not having room for the seasonal imported fish. Outdoor dining was livelier than usual because of the GP weekend, but the staff do a good job despite the chaos and noise. The vibe is very decidedly "posh" - to the point where when I stepped inside to use the restroom, the hostess followed me all the way to the back and pulled me out of the line to make sure I had a reservation! She later came and apologized, saying she "just wanted to make sure I was being helped" despite my (white) partner, who also showed up after our party was seated, never received so much as a second look on her way to the toilet. It saved them from a 3 star review, but made me very aware that no other diners looked like me and distracted from the meal.
