This place is often packed and service can seem rushed so here's the trick to an excellent Pushap experience: walk in and seat yourself, DO NOT ask for the menu-it's huge and will take you forever to decide and then wave down a busy server, just order the thali (aka daily special plate) you get rice, bread, a choice of lentils or chickpeas and 2 random sides. Add in some samosas if you're hungry and gulab jamun (like a sugary donut) for dessert. Pay at the counter when you're done. You'll be in and out for 10$ per person including tip!

Best restaurant if you're looking for a variety of vegetarian dishes. Very reasonable pricing. Staff are always friendly and attentive. Never a bad experience at Pushap. Don't forget to grab some samosas when you're there. They are simply delicious!

Really, there is nothing quite like it. Modest, humble even, in its unpretentiousness, Pushap's Indian vegetarian-only foods will delect your palate and leave you some pocket change after a copious meal!

I came here all the way from Cornwall just to get some Indian food. Really loved the food and definitely worth the price paid. I'll come back again soon!

Amazing place for affordable indian samosas and pakoras. 12 vegetarian samosas are 7$ and 12 vegetarian pakoras are 5$. It is a great deal specially when you need to feed a huge group for a cheap price. It is very tasty and fresh. They dont accept debit or credit, so make sure to bring cash with you. I highly recommend.

Great food. We went on a weekday evening there for a dinner but still the rush was quite a lot. Although relatively less for dine-in. We went for a Thali which included choice of curries (we went for Aloo Mirchi and Bhindi Masala sabzi), choice of Chapati or Puri, Rice and Daal Tadka. Excellent food. Bhindi Masala could have been a little more dry. We found Chapati better than Puri. Aloo Mirchi and Daal Tadka were amazing. The service was also decent. Looked like they were having staff shortage but still good. The parking outside can be challenging as street parking may not be available always. But there is a plaza a few meters away and one can park there. Definitely recommended!

In one word its mom made food . Not many masalas and total home style . Prices were nice but takes only cash . Was not enough food as were told by them but survived . Kofta and shahi paneer curry was same , dal tadka was good and also cheese chilly .
