My favorite spot for comfort food. Classic! Everything on the menu is good with good size portions.
Like a time capsule from the 1950's. Enjoy a "steamer" fully loaded, (hot dog with onions, relish, and slaw) with a Coke. If you like poutine, I suggest a St. Henri.

It has been 20 years since I moved from Montreal and since the last time I ate at Greenspot but I still remember how amazing the italian poutine was! I was a student at John Abbott College, living on my own, and would travel into the city every other week for the wonderful food and terrific atmosphere. If I ever make it back to Montreal I will definitely make a pit stop at at Greenspot!

Amazing spot for either the morning after a night out on the town or even with the family. The original family still owns this place which is really nice to hear. Granddaughter works the cash as I do this. Had a great server, very fast worker and was able to remember everything especially with speed.
A lot of nostalgic items, I would not be surprised if more than 90% of stuff here is original from 1947.
Food was super reasonable and the quantity was massive.

I go to the greenspot often... Slightly too often to be honest. There is something about this restaurant that makes me feel right at home. I'm not sure if it's the classic diner appeal or the music or the jukeboxes on each table but I'm just in love with it. The portions are extremely generous. I actually have NEVER finished my plate in there. The prices are amazing for what you get and the staff is very friendly.
Service can be kind of slow sometimes but the food is always great and at good prices too! Their lasagna is pretty good as well as their souvlakis. I definitely recommend this restaurant for a relax evening with friends or family, the decor is also very cute for a date !
What a great find if you're out in this part of town. Decades of experience have this place running like clockwork, and that comes with every staff member being very friendly, smiles and laughter all around. Truly feels like a proper 50s era diner after all this time.
Food was delicious (exactly what you expect from a diner like this) but what was most impressive was, despite the restaurant being full, our food came out roughly five minutes.

Excellent junk food. If you have a craving for steamed hotdogs done right, a good poutine with deep gravy and a good cheese with a good bite. This is the place. I will definitely try other kinds of poutine they have. Smoke meat…. The diner atmosphere is rare to find now and this place hits the spot. The staff is very efficient and work hard. It’s Better than other hotdog chains.
