One of the most authentic Italian meals I've ever had! Absolutely stellar! Delicious food, generous portions, and very friendly and considerate service. This place feels like you've been dropped into a trattoria in Italy. So, so good! (And this coming from an Italian!)
Awesome food and cozy vibes, the pasta here is amazing. The calamari was great as well.
What really sets this place apart though is the service. The waiter was friendly and made the whole experience more enjoyable. The food and drinks came out quickly and we felt welcomed there.

We found this gem of a restaurant quite by accident. What drew us here were the wonderful cooking smells that could not be missed as we walked down the sidewalk, the clean appearance, and the white table-clothed dining. We ordered calamari, manicotti, and lasagna. Everything was absolutely delicious!.. In fact, it was the best Italian we had ever eaten. The manicotti really just melted in my mouth. Every part of our meal was simply delicious.The service was spot on, and the owner was an active, personable part of his business. Kudos to a super job!
My daughters and I spent a beautiful evening here on a girls trip/mini vacay. I have never felt so welcome and so at home as when we visited Trattoria Trestevere! The atmosphere was cozy, beautiful Italian. The food was out-of-this-world delicious, and the service was excellent! We were made to feel like family, and I would recommend this fantastic restaurant to everyone! It really is a “can’t miss”!
We had such a fun time last night that we’re going back again tonight. We literally lucked out to find this place, just walking in the area and trying to decide where to have dinner. Walked in and they were able to seat us. We sat down, they took our drink orders and within 30 seconds I had my Negroni in front of me … I couldn’t believe it. The staff absolutely made the night so much fun! Everyone is so friendly and have a great sense of humour. I can’t wait to go again tonight and try the gnocchi that all the reviews seem to rave about.
