This is hands down the best restaurant I've been to. Service is always 110% above expectations and beyond wonderful. The food is *amazing*. We always get the masala dosa with two butter chicken combos (I always end up with extra to bring home! Pop it in the over with some tin foil and it's perfect). They have a large variety of dishes and very well priced combo deals (main dish, naan, veg curry, and rice). I want to thank the whole staff again for taking such good care of me today. You always make my day when i come to eat, but today you really made my birthday a wonderful experience. Thank you so much again!

Needed some soul food and good vibes tonight, so I stopped off at Montreal's finest Indian restaurant... Restaurant Bombay Choupati. The Bombay Bhel appetizer was downright delicious to the last drop of tangy tamarind sauce! Then I savored the Bhindi (okra) with oven-fresh Naan bread. Capped it all off with a special pistachio ice cream .

Tonight was my second time at Bombay Choupati and wow! The service is bar none (especially compared to the service we get at popular Indian restaurants on Jean Talon). Jay was so attentive, he even offered to pack our leftovers as we were walking out! The staff there goes the extra mile to make sure you are happy. But the food. The food is extraordinary. The spice is just right and the portions are perfect. I would recommend this place to anyone.

Here for Grand Prix and my brother insisted on going for lunch. WOW WOW and WOW again - this place is now in my top two restaurants. The Butter Chicken special was truly the best I have ever tasted, nearly enough to make two brothers goes to fight over the last mouthful. It's not on the menu but should be .....ask for the Tim Special. Enjoy

I am sorry that Sabrina had such a negative experience for two reasons. First because she didn't get to enjoy her meal. Second because Bombay Choupati is not only one of the best in Montreal, it is one of the best anywhere. I travel a lot, including many trips to India and England - where ordinary takeaway can rival the best Indian restaurants in New York City. Bombay Choupati is as good as it gets, folks, and the staff really do make you feel like they just invited you into their home. Don't miss out on this little gem. Thali definitions aside, you won't be disappointed.

Service with a smile! That sums up perfectly how my friend and I were treated a this little gem of a resto. They totally accommodated us with vegan fare without hesitation like a lot of other restos would. The food was incredible. I kept seeing this fun looking crepe heading to people's tables and asked about it, we ordered the Fire version of the masala dosa and WOW was that spicy but so so good! My nose was running and I was brought a box of kleenex. lol. We also had the Baigan Bharta, Daal, and Bhindi Masala. Totally satisfying meal. I will definitely be back and will be recommending it to everyone as there are items on the menu that I hadn't yet seen in other indian restos I'd been to. Keep up the great work!

It all starts with the service. As soon as you walk in your welcomed like family. The food is simply exceptional. The butter chicken is a must. The chole also very good. Nothing here is fried. This is the best Indian restaurant I've ever tried (Bombay mahal doesn't come close!) special thank you to Jay for giving us a perfect dining experience. We would come back just for you but the food speaks for itself. Highly recommended!

My family has been going here for over 15 years and I can honestly say we've never had a bad mouthful! It's a small family run restaurant and the service and food are reflective of a caring establishment that values its customers. Everything is good and the taste is always fresh and delicious.

Wholesome, friendly staff, and delicious meal. The place is clean and you will feel like you are invited to a family house. Take your time and do read all the menu then discuss it with your server. I have been to many Indian restaurants in Montreal and I've gotta say this one tops them all without the fancy gimmicky over-pretentious stuff.

This is definitely the best Indian restaurant in Montreal. I live near a million Indian restos but it's worth the extra trip just for that butter chicken! Everything is good, apps are amazing and the thali lets you taste a few things at a time; all delicious. If you are not sure what you like, just ask the waiter Jag. He is always helpful and very easy to talk to :)

Food was amazing and the service was great. First time at a restaurant that service for 8 people was done in just over one hour. Needs a little renovations though.

Our first visit and will definitely not be our last! This 28 year old family business makes phenomenal tasting food!! We ordered Tandoori Naan, Baraka Vada, Basmati Rice, Aloo Gobi and Aloo Baigan. The gentleman said it would only take 10 minutes and he was right; on a Saturday night 5:30pm. Due to Covid-19 restaurant is take out only. We were happy to see that the small takeout containers were recyclable and none were styrofoam. Do not be deceived by the somewhat small appearing plastic containers; each plastic container measures 1.5 cups, which is an ample amount of food! The inside washroom was extremely clean. Parking is very plentiful in the plaza parking lot. They do not offer any delivery but Uber Eats and Skip the Dishes is available. All the food was absolutely fantastic!! The flavours kept us wanting more and more!! The eggplant in the Aloo Baigan was very very tasty. The staff is extremely helpful and friendly and are willing to modify any dish to suit your needs. We will definitely be returning and recommend this Eatery!

As a Michelin chef, I can truly say that the butter chicken is something out of a French-Indian kitchen. If you don’t know anything about Indian food, the naans have to be fermented naturally instead of yeast with all purpose only. They do them right here, probably only 5-10 restaurants in North America who can nail the naan. The butter chicken is rather a rosè sauce with Turmeric, usually restaurants add tomato purée and cream. The chicken was cooked in skewers first, then added. It’s just simply unique to this restaurant. Honestly just try those two, and it will be worth your trip. The owner I had a nice chat, as how some French mother took me here when I missed home food for a university exchange and I finally found it again. He packed me some sauce to go. Excellent customer service, from the gentleman. Skip other Indian places.

Creamy butter chicken and fresh Naan. I love it so tasty, less tomato more cream. I've had it many times it's always so good. I order thru delivery services and done pick up. Had it again a couple of days ago.Always delicious. You can adjust the spiciness as you need. Soooo good.

It is one of our family's favourite restaurants. The street food style starters - Papri Chaat, Chole Chaat, Pani Puri etc. are out of this world. My kids love their Butter chicken. My wife and I truly love the vegetarian stuff - especially their Chana Masala, Baigan Bharta, Palak Paneer, and Daal. They try to keep the flavours as authentic as possible. Even though they are supremely busy, Jay and his team go the extra mile to serve their customers with warmth and generosity. We really can't wait to go back there again soon!

Just picked-up, a couple of masala dosas. Absolutely delicious, authentic. Tha Saambar was perfectly spiced and very flavourful. The family run place is always very polite and always accommodate customer’s requests. Thank guys. Highly recommended.
