The service here is incredible; busboys ready to fill your glasses, take your dirty plates and clean up the table. They are very fun and polite too.
We had the tomahawk steak for 2. It doesn't look like much, but one slice is about 10 mouthfuls, and there's about 6 slices on that piece of meat. Plus you get to gnaw on the bone! And you get 2 sides, so come hungry if you choose this dish!

Grinder was one of the best experiences I’ve had at a steakhouse in a while. The atmosphere was fantastic, and the service was incredibly quick and helpful. The waitress was very friendly and had great suggestions, as well as very accommodating. We celebrated a birthday and they provided us with our dessert on the house, which was super nice.
Overall, I’d give Grinder a very very strong 5/5 and would highly recommend to visit.

Service very good, friendly staff. Price is very high for the portion, I had the filet. The potato’s were very good actually but for $61+ a bit of a larger cut would be nice 😊 Still of course funky place.

I went to grinder on a Sunday evening. The vibe and environment was immaculate. The food was delicious and service was excellent. It did take some time for the kitchen to bring out the food, I would say it did take an hour or more but we were having fun and drinking so it worked out. They have valet parking and lots of seating . I do recommend you make a reservation. The music is really loud but I loved it I think it made the atmosphere. It kind of had a supper club atmosphere which was great.

Hanger steak and filet mignon were delicious. Lots of busy staff running around to keep your table cleared and glasses full. Very cool ambiance. Love the outdoor/indoor vibes. Giant green wall full of plants makes you feel like you are eating outdoors.

Everything is extremely tasty and worth every dollar you spend here, from the drinks to the appetizer to the main course and ending with the dessert.

More importantly, Con:
1. Service was not great. Took us 10 min to get a menu when our reservation was at 5pm right when the restaurant open. Told us there’s no oyster, but we saw the table next to us ordered it. Our main waiter checked on us a couple times but kept disappearing, we even had to ask for the check from other waiters.
2. Food was not worth the price.
Besides the scallop, and the side mash potato. Everything was average, the burger was small for $20, the $60 filet mignon meat quality was rubbery, not worth the price. We ended up adding the oyster, they were so so tiny for $3 each.
3. We’re in the middle of Omicron. They do check vaccine card when you enter. HOWEVER, the 3 chefs cooking ARE NOT WEARING FACE MASKS. And one of the cook was eating a burger as he was cooking! Many of the servers and bartenders have their masks off. To pay such price for the meals, I really wish I could feel safe enjoying my meals, not having to worry about someone’s spit or something worse going in my food.
Overall, NOT a great experience. The restaurant was busy, so it felt like they didn’t have to care. It made me doubt how sanitary their food prep is, and I wanted to get out of there as soon as possible.

Wonderful for a nice meal. My son took me there for our last day in Montreal. Food was amazing, service was a little inatentative, but also they were not questioning you every five minutes. Would definitely return again next time in Montreal. Great for special occasions.

I be been to many steakhouses and brasseries and this is the only place i was 100% satisfied beyond expectations. The 40oz Tomahawk rib steak that i ate by my self was the single best piece of meat i ve had period ! The baked potato was perfectly cooked all the way to the middle and those fries that i had as my second side dish were great best fries I ve had
Great service also and prices are decent compared to other lesser quality steakhouses ! If you havemt eaten at the Grinder you absolutely should add it to your bucket list !

Belle ambiance de resto comme je l'ai aime. Bon service également avec notre serveur Nicolas qui n'a pas hésité a nous servir une petite tournée de shooter espresso pour mon anniversaire ! Le menu est alléchant,il manque un peu de choix au niveau des cocktails mais ce n'est pas le drame. J'y retournerais sans hésitation �

The staff was great. Can't go wrong with the duck tartare. Pommes Aligot were great. The T-bone steal for 2 was very good. Nice wine list as well. Love that they serve late into the night.

Really enjoyed the ambiance and menu options. I had the buratina which was delicate and tasty. My main was the beef short ribs which didn't disappoint. Our waitress was pleasant and overall staff was very courteous and friendly 👏

Bof... bouffe ok mais qui reste sur le comptoir trop longtemps avec les mouches..vu en allant aux toilettes...staff de 18ans et quart qui manque de classe et qui n’ont définitivement pas un diplôme de l’école d’hôtellerie...habillés en mini short de jeans comme s’ils sortaient du beach club ou qui boivent avec un shoot avec les clients durant le service carte des vins hors de prix. Bref je ne recommande pas pour une facture de 300$/2 personne sans rien à signaler d’exceptionnel! Soirée ben ordinaire �
