This is a gem of a place. Have been here twice never disappointed. I am person who doesn’t brown bread or salad . But the way food is prepare here makes me come back every time . Very warm and welcoming place to connect to people . The outside patio is very beautiful place to spend time . The washrooms could have been maintained better , but then again there are only 2-3 waitresses to look after the place and they do an amazing job .

What a gem! I come here every time I'm in Montreal. My favourite items on the menu are the killer tomato sandwich and tomato bisque.. I keep meaning to try something else, but can't quite bring myself to do it!
I just love sitting on the gorgeous patio. It's so relaxing and has a great vibe, and is an easy place to come even for a solo lunch.
Huge, generous portions and always a delicious meal.. you really can't go wrong! It's also located in a cool neighbourhood with lots of shops nearby. Highly recommend!

We stumbled upon this little gem on a 24 hour stint in Montreal. Just walking around, we saw this place and it’s eclectic allure was calling out to us. The atmosphere was so quaint. The food even better. We tried their (coconut) CBLT. I’m not usually one to enjoy things that have a predominant coconut flavour but this sandwich was *chefs kiss* perfect. It was an amazing amalgamation of flavours that I never would have thought to mix. The second item we ordered was the the Chaucer Salad which had roasted tofu and chickpeas with a super flavourful tamari marinade and a pesto aioli. The delicious food aside, the lovely and wonderfully eclectic decor is enough in itself to make me want to return. 10/10 would recommend

Their bread is sooooooooo good! This place is a Montreal landmark. Sandwich combos are fantastic and creative. Go if you're vegetarian, vegan, or neither! You can order online for pickup, but I also recommend eating-in, as the ambiance is cozy, quirky, and comfortable.

Cafe is one my favorite place. I am in love with the garden and menu options. If you are a vegetarian, I would highly recommend you to try this place. I usually come here for lazy weekend noon to read and eat.
Tastes of the foods are great. You might see slightly late in getting the food on weekend noon because of lot people to serve. If you interested in the quick food then avoid coming to place in the peak time. Though, the employees are hard working and attentive, they should not take more then 20 min to get your food on the table.Give thumbs up if you find it helpful.

Superbe menu et la déco est extraordinaire! Or, le service que nous avons reçu nous a laissé plutôt perplexe... Peut-être ai-je mal compris le principe du café Santropol, à savoir que ce n'est point un café pour étudier, le tort est sur moi et j'en prends note pour la prochaine fois! Cependant, la façon par laquelle nous avons été chassées de notre table suite à l'arrivée soudaine d'un groupe de personnes n'a pas été politically correct si on peut ainsi le dire en vous épargnant le discours de notre serveuse. J'étais venue montrer ce café à une bonne amie en visite à mtl et c'est avec amertume que j'en ressors. Je n'écris pas ceci dans le but de faire de la mauvaise publicité, loin de là mon intention. Je souhaite souligner l'incroyable qualité de vos produits et le riche éventail d'options végétariennes, véganes ou raw, bien à l'image d'une entreprise pour qui la santé tout comme le respect de l'environnement se retrouvent au coeur de la mission! Si je vous écris, c'est plutôt au contraire parce que je souhaite retourner de nouveau à votre café et partager ce superbe endroit avec mes proches! Ne laissez pas le service ternir la fierté et le charme de Santropol! Merci!

Santropol NEVER disappoints!!! This quaint little bistro/sandwich shop/cafe has the nicest wait staff, to say nothing of the decor, to make you feel very comfortable as well as in awe of the fact that it this little gem although hidden behind foliage, easy to pass even if you know where it is located, is ALWAYS hopping! Artsy/hippie/business clientele. Always an interesting mix! The sandwiches are huge, delicious and out of this world! Thank you for another wondrous dining experience!!!!! 💋❤️

J'adore votre resto mais mon dépanneur me dis qu'il ne peut pas vendre votre café car un autre à coté le vend ...? c'est vrai ? Pourtant les dépanneurs vendent tous la même chose et on reste fidèle pareil sinon , en tu cas si c'est vrai je trouve ça plate et je vois pas trop le but . merci

A beautiful eating oasis so close to the mountain. Three of us had sandwiches with the freshest bread, creamiest cream cheese and fresh, crunchy salad on the side. I sipped madly on my iced chai latte and finished the whole tall glass of it. So happy to be discovering my city again after living away for almost 20 years. Thanks for existing, Café Santropol! 👌
