My favourite burger in Montreal. A lot of choices and all are very delicious. The design of the place gives you a positive energy and people are always welcoming to you. You can make your own burger by choosing your favourite ingredients although the burgers in the menu are super tasty.

This is a great place. The looks is nice and cozy, plus the staff is friendly.
I love the fact that they have two sizes for the burgers (slider and regular). That's not my thing, but for those of you who likes to choose to get a burger other than well done, you can pick.
The onion rings are definitely not a must, but the burgers are.

My favourite burger joint in Montreal. Friendly staff, nice cozy atmosphere with awesome artwork on the walls. Fresh ground burgers with a taste that leaves you wanting more. The staff is incredibly accommodating for customizing to the point that I've been able to get curds on the burger instead of regular sliced cheese (seriously recommended!)

This place is AMAZING!!! This was our first stop once arriving from the airport, I ordered the Pulp Fiction Burger with added friend egg, medium well to cook. The meal came with fries and a side salad that was also delicious!! Surprisingly the for a burger there meal was actually light and didn't sit heavy after consuming. The entire meal was AWESOME; so good I returned on my last night in town to order the poutine with fried chicken!! It was 🔥🔥🔥... One of the best poutine dishes I've EVER had!!

One of the best burgers I have ever had. The meat was juicy, and all of the ingredients were extremely fresh. I ordered the What i absolutely loved the most was that the restaurant didn't smell of grease and oil, despite it being an open kitchen. It was very fresh smelling! Will be coming back for my next trip, for sure.

Come here with a dose of patience and be rewarded with amazing burgers! The Mac and Cheese was incredible! Although the pulled pork poutine was lack luster and needing more flavor. My advice is to order through foodora or something.

Oh my god. This was first poutine in Quebec and it is 10 times better than my favourite poutine place in Vancouver. No contest. That cheese squeak instantly brings a smile to your face.
The burgers are also truly top notch. I ordered the spicy one (Inferno?) and my wife ordered their Bleu cheese burger. Both burgers were mind-blowing. The patties were very clearly fresh and hand made, then cooked to a perfect mid-rare.
No liquor license on site, but the Stewart's sodas they serve are a perfect accompaniment.
I'll definitely be going back... Possibly today.

I'm torn about this place. On the one hand, the food was tasty and fresh, on the other hand it was ridiculously expensive and other similar burger joints with the same level of quality and freshness don't cost nearly this much. My bf and I each took a 3oz burger (which is just slightly bigger than a slider) and they were $12 a piece and came with nothing on the side. The burgers were delicious but as we are both burger fiends and have tried many places in the city I would say they just weren't worth the $12 price tag for a glorified slider. Maybe if it came with a side of fries I'd feel a little less ripped off and less guilty for spending $12 on a tiny burger. We shared a side of onion rings which were nice and crispy ($6, not bad priced as it was an ok sized portion). The best part of the meal and most reasonably priced was the dessert. We got the beigne which was a huge fried doughnut with chocolate in the middle and a big scoop of ice cream. It was $6.50 and well worth it.
We love to eat out and we're willing to pay more for good quality food but there is a line between expensive and ridiculous and unfortunately I found that Burger Royal was bordering on the side of ridiculous. I doubt I'd go there again.

I loved it there. Started with the pumpkin soup, yummy. The burger was cooked to a perfect medium. I had the "Pulp Fiction" burger and it did not disappoint. My wife had the pulled pork burger and it too was tasty. Lots of different burgers and other tasty things like mac and cheese & poutine. Can't wait to go back the next time I'm in Montreal.

I'm vegan and they were super accommodating! The waitress even notified me that the regular bun had an egg wash on it so I went with the gluten free bun option. Delicious all around! Might be a wait if larger group or during peak times. Bon appetit!

Vraiment excellent, la version végétalienne du burger est à se rouler par terre ! Tout est bon, pain brioché, frites maison, tout est délicieux et frais ! Service amical et rapide... bref, une très belle découverte !

I heard about this place through Facebook... Ellie MacDonald asked for an urgent burger recommendation and 8 out 10 comments were mentioning this place. After checking out Crazy Bitch , my friend asked where "Burger Royal" is and we checked it out.
Amazing. Five star. They serve water in organic milk jugs. It has a diner feel with too many choices on the menu .

How amazing is this??? You can pick your ounces - 3 6 or 10 plus they ask you how you like it cooked. No kidding: I asked for medium / rare and I got Medium / Rare. Perfect!!!

So waitress gave us a huge cookie. Not mac n cheese but it hit the spot.
We took 3oz because we took other stuff..... Otherwise I could eat a 6oz& hubby 9oz.

The worst vegeburger I've ever had. The first time I couldn't finish a burger. Extra bland and expensive for the quality of the toppings and bread. Service was good but not enough to make me go back. Sorry

Un peu cher pour ce que c'est. Les frites sont très bonnes. Le brownie est minuscule (et cher), prenez le biscuit "à la mode" à la place pour le dessert, il en vaut la peine.
