Bayview Garden Chinese Cuisine

FOOD:
We had come here on a Saturday evening for dinner in a large group, about 15 of us. We were pleasantly surprised at how delicious all of the food was! We were served two different types of chicken, duck, soup, green beans, fish, mushrooms, and a few other types of meat. All of the items were well-prepared, and tasted fresh. My favourite were the wraps which consisted of duck, cucumber, and a few other vegetables, along with a delicious sauce which just made me want more and more. For my first time dining here, I was pleasantly impressed with how well everything tasted; a great plus!

ATMOSPHERE:
Since we were a large group, we were situated in the private room at the front of the restaurant. We had a large, round table which was able to accommodate all of us. Since we were in a private room, we didn’t see too many people around us however, we did have a few other tables in the same room as us. We felt comfortable as there was also a couch behind us that we could sit on if we got tired from sitting in the chairs. I also loved the carpet as it was soft beneath my feet, along with the cleanliness of the restaurant itself.

SERVICE:
We were provided with great service throughout the entire duration of our stay. A variety of servers came to us and asked us if there was anything that they could do to assist us, while taking away dirty dishes and refilling our tea pots with water and tea. Great service all around!

COST:
Over $200.00 for a group of 15 (more or less).

WOULD YOU RETURN?
Most definitely! I didn’t know that a restaurant this good existed therefore, I will surely be telling my friends and family about it!

Food great, service ok. Let me say this, the food and prices are fantastic. We have never had a negative experience concerning their food and quality. At times, depending if they are busy of course, there may be a wait, but that is to be expected. For the service, it would be unfair to say it isn't great because for most working there, english isn't their first language. We normally have an easy time ordering or explaining anything we have to ask to the staff. Their menu is typical of most Chinese restaurants, but with their own spin. Tasty and delicious, we would recommend for sure.
