Food is so good. Just wish the portions were bigger especially for that price.
Nandos is the best place to an amazing meal. Chicken and peri peri fries is a match made in heaven...And that’s a strong saturday set up right there!
I didn't know Nandos was here in Mississauga. Its a mistake that now I know there is Nandos in Mississauga. I make sure that I come here 3 times a month without fail. Benefits of eating here are many, taste, ambience, quality, grilled and their signature sauce.
I have tried Nandos in Dubai aswell. The only thing I don't like about North American Nandos are their bread. I know most of the people would love the garlic bread but in Dubai they had the healthier option and I loved that.
I usually stick to my usual order that includes Liver and Signature chicken. I have never had any complains because they are good no matter where I go.
If you guys like something spicy then try the hot liver, you won't be disappointed.
Please note that this review is about Nando's on Dixie ( 5K1, 5101 Dixie Rd, Mississauga, ON) I will move it to the appropriate outlet once I add the new location to Zomato.
The outlet is situated at a location where a choice of restaurants are available to the diner. Our first time at a Nando's, and it was a pleasant surprise.
We were greeted by a very cheerful, bright and friendly person at the door, who proceeded to seat us and get us our menus. We ordered the Peri-Peri chicken quarter dinners, to with fries, one with wedges and one with garlic mashed potatoes. The chicken was prepared medium hot, as we didn't know how hot, hot was.
The chicken was tender and succulent, grilled to perfection. We had medium sauce and garlic sauce as condiments. The fries and the wedges were a bit ho-hum. But the garlic mashed potatoes was quite delicious. As for the drinks, they have one of those soda fountain machines with zillion different choices. We came across minute maid cherry lime-aid which was just fantastic.
Friendly attentive staff, bright airy atmosphere, great food. A great dining experience without going to England to sample cheeky Nando's 😀😁 will visit again for sure.
Okay the thing about Nando's is that the food is amazing but the service.....is horrifying. Every time there's no one there to seat us so we're awkwardly standing there for 10 minutes. We order and the food takes an insane amount of time to arrive. Also for takeout, you order BUT WHERE DO YOU SIT? PLEASE get some benches or chairs for the people waiting for takeout!! It is incredibly awkward and horrible having to wait so long for a little bit of food for takeout.
The food is nice here but they make you wait for such a long time. The place is very cramped as well. If the waiting time can be reduced it will be much better.
I've been on a grilled chicken binge as of late, and that's what made me drive to Nando's despite the long commute from work (with only a one hour lunch...Sorry boss). For those living under a rock, Nando's serves up Peri-peri chicken and celebrates Portugese fast cuisine. There was nothing that fast about the place but you can't blame them for having a full house at lunch time here in Heartland Town Centre.
I got the Double Leg Chicken meal with 1 side, Spiced Rice ($11.25). Nando's Chicken is marinated in their special spices and served hot, mild, lemon peppery, or medium. The chicken legs weren't the largest, but they were grilled so well that it fills your nostrils even before you take that first bite. The chicken was a bit dry, but there's no denying the taste of damn good grilled chicken. The rice isn't very spiced as I found it a bit bland, but it was moist and is tossed with bell peppers for taste.
You go to Nando's when you are in the mood for grilled chicken. They take your order up front and then you'll grab their giant numbered stick to your table in which the servers will recognize you. Good place for lunch but be prepared for a wait during lunch time. You could be waiting for a while.
We went out for a quick bite but decided to dine in. Nandos was the right choice. luckily got two seat table @ 8:50pm on friday night...unbelievable! isn't it? the place which is usually packed on weekends. Garlic Peri Peri Sauce was amazing.
I came here one late Friday night and it was absolutely packed! Ordered chicken, potato wedges and rice dinner and sat down. The chicken and wedges were really spicy and I only had medium but I didn’t mind. I have had better Portuguese food elsewhere but this place is pretty good if you are in the area and want to order quick takeout. I wouldn’t go out o the way for it though.
Delicious food, fast and courteous service. Consistent with my experience of Nando's in South Africa and the UK. Lekker!
