Great value and unpretentious! Our family has been here 3 times, and it's a great no nonsense place for steaks, fish and chips, ribs, etc! I was charged for an extra meal by mistake, and didn't realize, but the staff was honest to tell me and refunded the difference. Great place!
Extremely good value for the cost. The steak π₯© and shrimp π¦ dinner was good and I had to leave 2 shrimp behind as I was full.
The Caesar salad would have been better minus the soy bacon bits. Itβs a different setup where you order then call you to pick up when ready and you take your meal to a table.
Oh me oh my! I was totally impressed with Master Steaks!π€ The steaks were juicy and for the price you pay it's merely a steal! I was confident that the steaks were at prime because the Master Steaks also houses an in house butcher shop. So, you can bet the meat served is at top notch quality!π
I landed on the 16oz NY sirloin and 24oz porterhouse. Wowzers! Both were incredible peices of meat, I must say!π Medium rare, juicy and tender!π I really loved the charbroiled bbq taste that lingered on the meat. I also quite enjoyed the sides that accompanied the steaks. With you choice of fries or mashed, it complemented the meal very well.
I recommend Master Steaks if you love steaks and want to go easy on your wallet.π It's a must try if you are in the area and would love a tasty peice of meat!π€π΄π
What a delicious meal. Went in with a coworker for lunch and we both had the 12 oz rib steak. It's a wide but flatter steak and they managed to get the cook nearly perfect. Fries and gravy with a side salad. It's a little costly but worth it!
Love this place! Used to frequent it years ago when I was driving semi long haul. Now that I'm in a different career and recently started traveling to the GTA for business and was really happy to see the place still in business. It's not the nicest place aesthetically, but the steaks are awesome! You won't find a better steak at the price anywhere else. Not sure why people say otherwise, but the staff is friendly( at least today), its quick, cheap and delicious. I'll be back here every trip I take. Enjoying a superb rib steak as I type this.
Great food, not great vibe. If you haven't been to Master Steaks before, it's a classic "trucker stop" type of restaurant. The staff are brash and edgy. Not overly friendly at all. Might be because of the fact that it is a trucker stop and they serve alcohol and they are open really late. Regardless, once you get over the staff and the dark and not so well lit seating area, the food is great. (by the way, even though the sign says family restaurant, it really isn't) It's not the gourmet steaks you might find at a fine dining restaurant, but they are pretty darn good. Be careful with their pricing though, because adding on salads (which are really small) tacks on another $2 or so. And drinks will really rack up the price as well. A meal for 2 ppl regularly go for about $35 - $40 if you aren't careful adding on all the extras. Still a good place to eat though.

Truck stop goodness. This isn't a place you bring a date to, it's a truck stop/greasy spoon.
I've been coming here for about 20 years and while the food is never superb, its cheap and good. It's above and beyond those crappy chain places like Jack Astors, Milestones, Kelsey's etc just not as clean... speaking of which, that's really my only complaint - it can get a bit scary eating on their tables.
Try the Master Burger or their beef ribs, along with fries. Those are my favorites.
Cheap and good. I order the dominico steak special when in the mood for steak. The other steaks are sometimes tough. Dominico get a thumbs up. If not in the mood for steak order ribs - they are always good. I have eaten here at least 30 times. Wine is cheap. Sometimes they run out b/c the boss is lazy and won't pickup the order. (according to the friendly staff) I have canceled my orde and left if they have no red wine - afterall a good steak needs a glass of wine!
Best steak I have ever tasted.... It is cooked perfectly to order.... This place does not look the prettiest (it's basically a truck stop) however they make up for it in there amazing steak and home made salad dressing...... AMAZING!!!!!
