We're Surprised by all of the negative comments. We've patronized the Mississauga location for years. On several occasions, We've taken family there who were visiting us from abroad. Consistently good service and flavorful, quality south indian cuisine.
Great food great service. Server recommended Onion rava masala dosa and i loved it with madaras special coffee.

Sarvanna Bhavan was offering a dinner buffet the weekend we went. We paid total of 40 dollars for 2 and it was unlimited dosas, idli along with some puri, sabji, biryani and sweets. Taste was decent. Good thing was you could have as many as dosas as possible. Ambience was decent and a good for families.
An authentic South Indian place to dine in. Enjoyed the different variants of dosas. dosa is a thin crepe made out of lentils and rice. So a healthier option to eat. Taste of chilli mushroom dosa was amazing. Sambar was perfect 10/10. I recommend this place over and above all other South Indian food restaurants in GTA. A perfect blend of spices!! Hats off

Didn’t have to wait for sitting . Enjoyed the food as wait wasnt too long. Ordered rawa masala , mini tiffin , kawa dosa ( the best ) . Also the dahi vada was ok . Will go back
I've been here a while and craved some authentic south India food in Toronto. Tried a lot of places before this but none really hit the mark. Until I came to this place. The perfect taste with just a bit over the mark price. The paneer onion rawa masala dosa was amazing with the masala on the side. Will always come here for south Indian. It is love!

We have been here a couple of times for brunch, lunch as well as dinner. Every single time - the place has amazed us. They simplified their operation by making it all buffet place - so you pay a fixed price and the menu is yours. A great deal if you are very hungry and don't want to go through the traditional pain of going through the menu, ordering and then waiting for it to come.
Having said that, this place is usually crowded with a typical wait time of 5-10 mins, except on a weekend or a holiday when it can go up to 20-30 mins. Due to large seating capacity, the turnaround time is quite good for customers.
The food is amazing, especially the fresh Idlis and Vadas. Their Dosa is not on the buffet table but served separately by waiters. The sambhar and chutneys are quite delicious when clubbed with Idli-Vada and Dosas. On some days, they also have Veg Kothu Parotta which is quite amazing on its own. They also have some North Indian items on the buffet table but, for me, it is idiotic to have North Indian food in a South Indian restaurant.
The experience with the staff has been good so far. Not very friendly but doing their job very well.
Parking can be an issue since there are a bunch of restaurants in the complex and all share quite small (comparatively) parking space.

That was my first week of my Canada Trip. I was in Toronto and missing my mom food badly. Felt like going out for a dinner for South Indian food. Google Mother showed me a way to relax from my homesickness by suggesting Saravana Bhavan.
Been to Saravana Bhavan and when I entered and heard a Telugu song Kannaa Nidurincharaa from Great Indian Movie Bahubali. Took a deep breath and my heart filled with lots of happiness by looking at 100 + Indians in one place. Thanks to Google. Lunch mates are Indians, Crew is Indians and most of them are from southern part and yummy Indian food. What else we need a for a person who is missing the Indian food and people.
After reading complete Menu ordered for South Indian Than with Vada (you need to choose Vada or poori). Served it with 2 papad. Spent some time in photography with lots of involvement. Later started enjoying each and every dish of Thali. Not exactly like our Saravana Bhavan in Chennai but they gave the similtaste adn made my day tummy full. A surprising coffee landed on my tablet as a compliment.

This restaurant is over crowded and very long wait times, almost all the time I had been there. Not a Dosa fan of this restaurant, but my husband really loves the special veg thali here, every dish tastes yummy!! We both share the meals as it is too much for one person. The service is really quick and staff are very helpful. Please improve your dine in area to accommodate more people.
We wished to visit the restaurant tonight for dinner and so we called ahead. We asked for a reservation at 8 pm and we were told it is first come first serve.
We reached before 8 and were told the wait time is 20 minutes. It was a bit cold outside so the we had to sit in the car as we had a kid with us. After about 30 minutes, we got a call to get in.
The table was bigger than our party size so that was great. The quality of service and food also was great. Nothing to complain about.
The only star I take away is for no option to reserve a table ahead of time and the quantity of sambhar is too low with anything you order. So we had to ask at least 7 times for an extra sambhar.
All in all, we made it work and had a good time.
Perfect South Indian food. Ordered thali through Uber and arrived on time. Lots of varieties they have included when ordered thali and the taste was good. Though the taste is exactly not matching their branches in India, it’s still great. Love the food and the way it’s packed.
Such a wonderful place with delicious South Indian varieties. Great presentation and taste. Beware during the weekends there would be a lil bit of a waiting time. FYI - You don’t need to book a table in advance. You can walk in directly. Rest all is amazing.
Really very tasty food here. Yeah last night i plan to eat dosa, so i went to Saravana bhavan. I heared about this place but i never try. So finally i went there and i order Masala dosa, medhu vada and cheese kara masala dosa. Wow.... first we try medhu vada with chutny and sambar. Totally fresh, crunchy and hot. So tasty when i dip in chutny and sambar its vera level bro....
After that i try masala dosa is taste good same crunchy and fresh served. Masala inside dosa is really amazing taste. I am so happy untill my last bite😋. But cheese kara masala dosa totally different from masala dosa. They chutney panner cheese and potato masala i loved that taste. And finally i end with Special Madras Coffee. I am highly recommed this place. You guys want to try here once then u will know.

We had a great time at Saravanaa bhavan mississauga location , Anna was courteous and a pleasant person who served us, she recommended paneer dosa and it was mind blowingggg!! We also tried the choc dosa my kid loved it, and ofcourse crispy masala dosa was delicious too. We tried the mini idli 14 piece with separateb sambar plate it was full of flavour ! We went a bit late pav bhaji was finished but we will be going back for pav bhaji and rava khichadi! Missed the masala tea we had at scarborough location we were short on time! Overall it was an amazing experience as always. Very nicely managed.
