Not as good as Panera's but afternoon bite was decent got the sweet potato salad with a green iced tea latte also had the breakfast version with 2 eggs and toast. I did not enjoy the oily dressing they served me to pair it with but the well made latte overcompensated that with the mini chocolate.
I normally frequent Starbucks to curb my coffee fix, but since moving to the GTA, Aroma has become my new go-to for lattes. However, service is extremely slow.
I came here with a friend after a day of hiking near Erindale park. The patio next door at Moxie's was occupied so we decided to hit up the Aroma's patio. It was a late lunch and they offer some healthy choices on their menu. They have sandwiches, salads, baked goods, croissants, and other hot sandwiches. I decided to order a Tuna Sandwich and an Ice Cap. My friend had their Quinoa salad with smoke salmon. Their Tuna Sandwich was very tasty with the Tuna, and Arugula standing out along with their mayo based sauce. Their Ice Cap had a very uniform consistency throughout unlike Tim Horton's where the ice solids remain at the bottom of the cup. I tried some of my friend's salad and it was tasty even though Quinoa is not my thing. Being outdoors they had to say my name on the sound system in order for me to pick up my order. This was humorous as my name blended in with the lyrics from the background music.

FOOD:
We had come here for some hot drinks on a cold Sunday afternoon at around 4:30 pm. I had chosen the Hot Chocolate, while my mother had chosen the Americano Coffee; we had decided to share a slice of Carrot Cake. The Hot Chocolate was very delicious, nice and sweet, with just the perfect amount of chocolate (which was all on the bottom, and needed to be stirred in order to have the chocolate flavour throughout the entire cup). I loved how a small bar of chocolate was included on the side of the mug; a nice touch! The decoration on the top of the mug was picturesque, looking like it was like a work of art. The Carrot Cake was also delicious, very moist, and well-prepared. You could definitely tell that care was put into making these items the best out there!
ATMOSPHERE:
This cafe was located in Square One, which makes it very busy, with people coming in and out at all times. The only thing that I wasn’t too crazy about was that the café was quite cramped, making it difficult to get-up when needed. I did understand that this was a very busy area however, it just wasn’t very comfortable to sit down in considering how difficult it was to get in and out of the space.
SERVICE:
We had placed the order at the front, and when it was ready, they had called out my mother’s name over the microphone system. It wasn’t too loud therefore, if you were speaking loudly, you may miss hearing your name. All of the baristas were very knowledgeable, and definitely showed care in placing a diligent order for all customers.
COST: 1 Hot Chocolate + 1 Americano Coffee + 1 Slice Of Carrot Cake = Around $11.00
WOULD YOU RETURN?
Absolutely, without a doubt! I really loved the items that they had here (although they were a bit pricey, which was understandable considering the quality). I may get my item to go next time as it was a bit cramped when dining-in.
I love how they have a container for lemon water that you can just walk up and to and grab a cup of if need be.
We stopped in a couple of weeks ago for a quick hot chocolate and the Iced Berry Tea Lemonade. The lemonade was super refreshing, and would be great for the current warmer climate, unlike when we got it and it was still -15 degrees Celsius out.
I spent a few hours today shopping at the new Square One Mall. Its a really cool place. At 4:00pm the urge for coffee and a light meal hit, I went to one of the touch screen info kiosks and found there was an Aroma right around the corner. Yeah!! This Aroma is located right near an entrance and was very sunny and pleasant, with high ceilings. It was very busy, but didn't take long to be served my brewed coffee and a salad that I actually crave, the sweet potato/red lentil with goat cheese. Its a delicious combination of flavours and textures and the cheese is very creamy. Highly recommended!
Very nice pitstop on the way out to the bus stop! A lovely corner location of Aroma at Square One. The food and service are consistent with other locations I've been to. They have the big menu boards if you can't see their menu from a far. Beverages are same in quality and just as delicious. I order the Iced Matcha Latte and it's still pretty good. They have a nice patio but can get a bit disruptive as this is a common entrance between the City Centre Bus Terminal (tons of passenger/customer traffic).
It's a nice place I keep going back to. The coffee is good and the snacks are very good too. I love how the butter croissant just melts in the mouth.
The place is okay to work from. The WiFi is good but there are hardly any power sockets. The staff is helpful but sometimes seem a bit cold. Maybe that's just my perception. I haven't had any problems here and I'll keep going back.

My order was ready in no time, and it was so delicious! I gotta be honest, when I saw the it's done, I said, I'm gonna regret this! But the taste was so good, I loved it!
I would recommend some more ventilation inside the place as the smell of the food is so all over the place, and clothes, and hair, and everywhere! 😅 Yes it was so good and makes you hungry, but too much for me!
Service wise, as I said, it was fast and so delicious, so these guys know what they are doing, well done! 👏
Money wise, it's so convenient in comparison to other places (you what I'm talking about⭐)
Over all, its really nice sometimes to go out of your comfort zone and try something new, coz it might surprise you, like what just happened today to me!

I have only had their hot chocolate but they use real chocolate that you have to stir in and it it probably the best hot chocolate I have had. It's also very nice how they serve it with a nice napkin, long spoon and a little chocolate. Only drawback is the price which is why my review is 4 stars instead of 5 stars.
This Aroma Ebar sports a really nice patio with a view of the fountain and pretty good sound system. You also can't go wrong with the taste and flavour of the baked goods and coffee at Aroma. The only surprise for me was that they didn't know how to make a flat white at this location in contrast with the Aroma bars in Oakville and St Catherine's outlets so 4 stars.
