Fresh fresh fresh!! Having worked there I can honestly say that the owner is an amazing lady and makes everything fresh daily. And is also very charitable. I would recommend this place to anyone.

A big shout out to Louise and the crew at Cobs Bakery. Thank you for bringing us a piece of Australia as we experience the expat life! Loving the hot cross buns!
It's a cozy little bakery but it has so many great things. I love the hot cross buns. Most other places that sell them make them a bit dry and fill it sparingly. But this bakery fills the hot cross buns a lot more and they are moist and delicious! I also got the cheese bread which was great! Overall loved everything I got
This is a main "staple" for us... Consistently great product and service.
Our weekly bread run includes a multi-grain -- which is great for those that need to watch out for their sugar levels, and a sourdough or raison challah.
Extra snacks when in the mood -- miss the apple log but often go for scones.
Be sure to check days of availability so as not to miss your favourite items.
Now I consider myself a master connoisseur of butter tarts! Can't pass up on any offer just to discover a better recipe and so far Mohawk Casino is tops on my list.
Cobs Bread is located at plaza development on the northeast corner of Hurontario Street and Eglinton Ave E. While venturing into this outlet today, I was drawn to the display featuring butter tarts.
Besides weight, what do I have to lose? A box of 6 homemade tarts for $9.50 (no taxes) and the sale was a done deal. I decided to leave the purchase of the many delicious bread products for another trip.
Service was friendly and prompt.
But what about the tart? Well, I was hoping for about double the amount of pastry to go with the great tart filling but that's my personal preference. I was left wanting. Still, I give this tart a 4 out of 5.

Cobs is a local favorite and they have really amazing artisanal bread. Heard a lot about them and tried it for the first time and really liked their breads: buns, sourdough bread and loved their cinnamon rolls as well. When I'm there next will surely tried their scones.
I really enjoyed the pastries I bought from here, particularly the berry and white chocolate scone. The staff were also very helpful and friendly. I would come back to this location for sure.
We love their sourdough bread. If your a fan of sourdough then you'll love Cobs.
Love this bakery. They have a wonderful variety of breads and pastries. Very friendly staff, and if you’re lucky you might even run into the mayor!
