Very good place for South Indian food. We went here multiple times and have had a very good experience always. Some of the things we have tried include Srilankan Set Dosa, Veg Masala Rava Dosa, Poori with Potato Masala and Salt Lassi.
The service is a little slow but the quality of food is worth it. The staff is good and courteous.
The ambiance is good and quite contemporary. There is plenty of seating space, including for large groups.
The parking outside is quite large since this is located in a very large plaza with shared central parking space but every time we have found a parking space close to the restaurant.
Overall, it's a great place to have a good South Indian meal.
One of the clean and best customer service indian restaurant I visited since long time, waiters were quick in taking orders and wait time was very less. The quality of south indian dishes like paneer dosa, pizza uttapam, sambar, chutney and thali were some of best dishes i had at Swagruhas Dosa Home. Whoever is visiting Mississauga, I highly recommend this restaurant and you will never regret.
I just been here with my husband, ordered dahi vada, samosa chaat, raava masala dosa & mango shake. Nice customer service, yummy food, clean restaurant, and friendly staff. Definitely going recommend this restaurant to friends and family.

Went to swagruhas on a Saturday evening, it was crazy busy and our waiter told us it will take quite bit of time because dosa do take time when there are many tables around. I know that because I make them for myself at home. Not everyone will wait patiently though. But I think people who are going to a dosa place should know how the dosa is made. I'm saying this because of one guy who came after us to dine in was really impatient. It hasn't even been 15 mins since he arrived, he started yelling at the waitress that it has bend an hour since he came.
Coming to the food, we were two people and we ordered Dahi vada, Idly, Vada, Onion rava masala and mango shake.
Dahi vada was good for me but my wife loved it, her take on that was the texture and the taste was amazing. Idly was really good, it was soft and it was delicious with their coconut chutney and sambar. As the reviewer below said vada was fresh, it wasn't microwave-d unlike in some restaurants where I have been as well, tasted amazing.
Star of the night for both of us was onion rava masala dosa, recommended to us by the waiter. It is a definite try at Swagruhas. Loved the crispness of it and the taste was really good. Mango shake is made fresh(asked the waiter) tasted like it as well.
Swagruhas coconut chutney is really good and their sambar is to die for, not a big fan of tomato chutney.
The service was good but as I said it was hectic and we talked to the owner, he said that it's a family run business and on Saturdays and Sundays it's like this but in weekdays the wait is 5-10 mins at best.
The ambiance has nothing much to talk about. Its OK. But the food is amazing. Can't wait to go back.

We ordered Idly, vada, chili garlic dosa and onion rava masala dosa.
Idly was fresh and soft. Vada tasted really good as they seem to make it fresh, have visited other south indian places in GTA where vada's are heated in an oven and given to us, which were easy to recognize as they become soggy once heated in a microwave.
Chili garlic dosa was SPICY. We like spicy and it was exactly what we were looking for and the star for us was Onion rava masala dosa, It was delicious and crispy, it takes time to prepare though,ours took about 15 mins, which was worth the wait.
Swagruhas sambhar and coconut chutney were amazing with whatever we ate. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone who wants to try authentic dosa's from India.
Amazing breakfast buffet on weekends!. I have been here twice so far and the food on the buffet offer for the weekend is amazing. tons of variety and amazing food. the service is great and the food is delicious. vada, dosa. idli, puri, pongral are awesome but the highlights are rasam, pulihora, coconut chutney.
