Review Supermoon Japanese Style Cheesecakes - Mississauga

My husband and I worked with Supermoon for our wedding desserts/favours. We’ve loved Supermoon for years and when it came time to select our wedding favours, we submitted a special order to Supermoon. Sami guided us through the ordering process and was extremely helpful and responsive. From letting us choose the cheesecake boxes, to affixing our custom wedding stickers, and adding wedding sprinkles, the experience was seamless and amazing. We received several compliments on the cheesecakes and I’m sure many of our guests will be stopping by in-store! The texture and presentation of the cheesecakes was perfect and made our Japanese cheesecake dreams come true. We would 100% recommend Supermoon; either for your event, or as a nice treat!

My favorite Japanese cheesecake place,love there chocolate cake and tarts collection. Cakes are not too sweet and have perfect balance of softness and fluffiness. Chocolate cakes gets sold out pretty quick so make sure you call in before you go to the shop.

***Update July 24th 2021*** I went back and I ordered the original and the red velvet. Service is quick and efficient as to be expected now. Kudos to that. The red velvet was okay, it was lacking on the sour notes that qualify any red velvet variations. I do prefer the original or the strawberry ( When they have it ) as my favourites for now. I will report back when I have tried the chocolate and other flavours. ======================================================= I was in the area today and I decided to drop in pick one up for my wife . I have tried Uncle Tetsu's many times and I have eaten it over in Asia as well. Truth be told, I was never a fan of the Japanese style of cheesecake. However, I did enjoy this cheesecake. It definitely tastes better than Uncle Tetsu's in my opinion. But to each their own right? I wanted to pick up a Red Velvet cheesecake, but I was too early. ....arghhhhh !!! So be warned my fellow foodies. You will need to go after 1PM or so when they will have their full assortment available. I opted for the FOTM ( Flavour of the month ) which is the strawberry Flair. The service was very helpful and friendly. The location was clean and spotless. There is plenty of parking in the mall. So this location is very easy to get to and from. I found the texture most similar to that of my favourite cheesecake from Junior's in New York City. If you have tried a Junior's cheesecake before, then you will know that I really like the layer of soft and velvety sponge cake on the bottom. The taste is quite good, not overly sweet nor heavy. I really liked the overall texture. It was quite enjoyable....it reminded me of Junior's. Man, when are the borders opening up...I have to head down to NYC for some good eats !!! So all in all, I was quite happy and satisfied with the cheesecake here and dare I say that I will definitely return later on to try the Red Velvet and the Chocolate versions. Before I forget, if you collect 10 "Moons" ( The lovely box that the cheesecake is boxed in ), then you can get a free cake. So that is nice and generous. Please give them a try and let us all know what you think. This is line drive triple into the gap in right field !!!

I'm so happy to have discovered this Japanese cheesecake spot! It's very conveniently located in Streetsville so that alone wins it points. As for the quality and taste: absolutely love it! I tried original and chocolate for a direct comparison with Uncle Tetsu's. And I'm so glad I did give this a try! Easily as good if not better than UT's. Super light and moist, it is dangerous! You can easily pack away the entire cake It's so delicate in texture and taste! The customer service is absolutely superb too! Reached out to them to confirm availability, via Google maps, and received instant reply. Make sure to collect the top of the cake packages if you are a regular or looking to become one to get a treat after you collect a certain number of them! I am not a big fan of cheesecakes, but this Japanese style cheesecake from supermooncheesecakes It’s toooo good , definitely give it a try it’s very light and fluffy. Also their chocolate cheese tart is my new favourite ♥️

You guys are a lifesaver! I wanted to bring a birthday cake for a family member who's in a hospital. But hospital policy calls for cake slices that were individually-wrapped-and-sealed-in-the-store because of Covid. I shopped around and the wrapped cakes I saw were boring and typical grocery-bought cakes that have been in the fridge for too long. On a hunch, I called Supermoon in Streetsville. I didn't even know they serve mini-moons, with frosting and in different flavours too! They only do this on weekends but they were nice enough to make 20 freshly baked mini moons on a short notice for a Thursday pickup. I was very obsessed in asking how they will package it. When the lady (Anne) mentioned they will be in a clam-shell containers, I thought of the take-out containers from restaurants. The last thing I want is for the hospital to think that I packaged it myself . I was pleasantly surprised to see that they came in cute, clear round containers that further highlighted the mini-moon's cuteness. They even put round Supermoon stickers to prove that it was store-packed. All these and the fact that they were freshly baked really made the cakes worthy for a birthday celebration . My only regret is that, in my excitement, I forgot to take pictures before I distributed them so I have no pictures accompanying this review. But I'm really grateful to Supermoon for accommodating my request despite it being on a short notice. Thank you , thank you so much!

Japanese cheesecake is not like ordinary cheesecake, this is light and fluffy and mostly made made from egg whites. I am not a fan or traditional cheesecakes, we take these ones to parties for others to try and everyone loves them. Great flavors to choose from. Made fresh each day, when they sell out the store closes so go early.

What a cool spot, Japanese-style fluffy cheesecakes in the heart of Streetsville, with an ADORABLE theme? They serve the classics (original, chocolate) plus a red velvet and a rotating fourth flavour which is always neat. Keep an eye on their Instagram for cool deals and fun specials - like a heart-shaped cheesecake for Valentine’s Day! Will be going back.

Always get friendly service whether over the phone or in person. Love that it is a new idea in the heart of streetsville and they are making a name for themselves. Would recommend over uncle tetsu. Cheaper and I've never had to wait in line.

1st time having this type of cheesecake so it’s hard for me to compare. I got the regular and the flavour of the day (Earl Grey) & they were both amazing!.. Different then what I’m use to but was impressed. Very friendly staff who didn’t stop while I was waiting. Will definitely be back!

Everyone at our family's Mothers Day dinner really liked the taro and original cakes! Many commented on how good they were compared to the heavy/sweet traditional cheesecakes.

I have been keen to try these super cute cheesecakes since I heard of Supermoon’s opening. I tried the tarts and a cheesecake. Everything smelled fantastic. Sweet, but no cloying. The appearance of each item is tidy and and dainty. The tarts: A crunchy base filled with the creamiest custard-like filling. Not savoury, not sweet but a perfect blend of both. I can’t wait to have another with a cappuccino! The cake: I had their chocolate cheese cake. Not overly fluffy, but defiantly different from a New York style. I will defiantly need to try their other flavours!

This is the most delicious dessert you will ever try! So nice, sweet and fluffy! These things are awesome!

I love japanese cheese cake and I was excited to know finally there’s one bakery close by. And I checked the review and it is excellent. Unfortunately I am not impressed at the quality of the cake and the service. Yes they are busy and I was told there will be 45 mins wait time for the regular cheesecake. And I was lucky enough to get the last red velvet cake. I tried the sample and it is not bad. It is moist and taste pretty nice. But when I purchased, the cake was flat, very flat, like less than 2 cm. It was thin and looking sad. It looks more like a pancake to me. I asked the staff and she said each batch came out differently. maybe she’s right. The sample on the counter is twice as thick and puffy. I paid $10 for the cheesecake. It was $12 and they offer 20% off right now. If you like cheesecake, or pancake and wouldn’t mind low quality control, give it a try.

Was able to come in and get one Friday night. Grabbed a chocolate one to take home for my daughter and I. WOW! Wasn't sure what to expect, but was pleasantly surprised! Will definitely go back to try the other flavours :)

Better than Uncle Tetsu's!!!!! I was looking forward to trying the cheesetarts, but unfortunately they were not being made on Dec. 27th. Can't wait to try them the next time I'm in Mississauga.

The staff at Supermoon are working very hard to ensure customer satisfaction (I’m here right now and they haven’t stopped). Like all new business we have to remember that nothing is perfect right out the gate. Thankfully the quality and taste of Supermoon cakes are delicious and dare I say perfect�. The only problem is that they are busy and in high demand so they will have to figure out how to keep up with the product, but I guess that is a good problem to have.

Tried the cheesecake on the first day that you opened(Monday) and really liked it. Picked 2 up today(Friday) and holy crap I loved it!! Both days they were still warm when I tried it but I think you guys have hit the nail on the head with what ever you did today. Heading back tomorrow to pick up more and introduce people to this lovely yumminess�
