Great food great experience and very friendly management feels like eating at home
Last week my friend took me for lunch at Applewood Fish & Chips. We ordered Wild Alaskan Halibut with Coleslaw. The fish was perfectly made, tender, delicious in a thin & crisp batter. Coleslaw was homemade, fresh & tasty. The service was fast. Highly recommend. The owners are very friendly 🙂
This place has been on my to go list for quite awhile. The other day it was actually on the way, and we were like this has to be the time we are giving it a try.
Since it was like between lunch and dinner so we ordered only a Premium Mild Halibut with fries and a large coleslaw to go.
The fish is
Hands down the best fish and chips place in the area. Located in Mississauga, close to central Etobicoke. Halibut is so fresh. Fries are the best! Gravy too! The portion size is excellent. The owners are very friendly and appreciative of their customers. Trust me. You won’t be disappointed.
Fish are fresh and crispy at a fair price. Staff are friendly and welcoming. Probably the best fish n chips spot in sauga. Highly recommend the slaw if youre a fan of the creamy kind.
Very clean and well maintained on the inside. Family owned and operated, very friendly and make you feel like family. The fish tastes fresh, the chips taste fresh and their creamy coleslaw is spot on. You can tell that fish and chips are their specialty.

DELICIOUS! Quick service, fair prices, big portions and crispy fish and chips. I wish the chips were a little bit seasoned and that we got lemon with the fish but overall it was a good experience. The staff was all very friendly and attentive, we will be back here when craving fish and chips! 🐟
Excellent food! Good prices, but come prepared, as they only accept cash. That's how they keep their prices down! Crispy batter on the fish and mushrooms, nice flakey fish, crispy fries, and l love their coleslaw! Friendly and fast service. Definitely one of our go-to places to eat. >^..^<
We liked it so much that we ordered 2 more take outs. Still the best Fish and Chips we've been so far. Crew is very friendly and approachable. We will be back for sure.
