All of the the food was really good! I think the kitchen had enough “wok hay” so that everything was tasty and satisfying. It was comfort food. The portions were great. I especially liked the fried dumplings too.
The congee was yummy--might be the best in Mississauga! Got side orders of the deep fried dough fritters and fried turnip patties. Both were amazing! We dipped the fried dough fritters in the congee and their turnip patties are the best I've had so far! I plan to try the spicy version next time.
Overall, everything is very nicely flavoured with great portion sizes.
It's a great place for congee! Best that I've have in Mississauga and it's cheap great price large portions! Definitely would recommend for some great congee!

Great Place!. We stopped in at this place on a busy Sunday afternoon for lunch. When we first walked in, we had to wait at the front as they were clearing tables for customers to sit at. The restaurant itself was pretty small with not much standing room at the front. We were given a table near the front of the restaurant after a few minutes. We were given menus right away which was great. We ordered our meals and waited about ten minutes. After ten minutes, all of the items that we ordered arrived. This was my first time having congee and I have to say that it was absolutely amazing! It was a huge dish with tons of flavour and taste, I loved it! Also, the pastries used to dip into the congee were soft and delicious, they almost tasted like fried donuts, which was amazing! The thick noodles were actually better than the thinner ones. All in all, the food was great, and the service was top notch! Will definitely return if I have a congee craving!

Clean place and good food. Been going to this place for about 2 years. Enjoy the food and service. It's a bonus the place is aways clean.
I'm not sure how they do it but they get your order out faster than any other restaurant.

Excellent Service!! The staff make you feel like family and are polite and attentive. The black bean chicken is quite good as well as the congee. The restaurant is newly renovated and clean. Always a good experience here.

I was surprised to see that they recently renovated. So the interior is nice 'n colourful. Very inviting, too bad they always have the windows covered 'cause that sends the opposite signal, i.e. "stay away 'cause there's something scary in here"!
We ordered a super bowl of fish congee w/ sweet corn (huge!), Chinese donut, & cold HK milk tea + lemon tea. YUM! Including taxes+tip, it was $18. Unbelievable!
The food and environment are both homey. Nothing fancy, but good food that you'd find at any Chinese diner.
I prefer Chi's Congee over the noisy, bustlin', nearby Congee Dynasty! The food much better.
