Comparing Central European restaurants in Toronto, this restaurant is the most authentic from all of them. Slovak menu, many Slovak and Czech favorite dishes, beers and desserts. Pros: food came very soon, big portions, perfect taste. Cons: interior looks a bit old, patio is basic with no any idea. Prices are similar to other restaurants, but I would prefer smaller portions and a bit lower prices. In general, I can definitely say it’s value for money.
Second time here and it's the same.
Great local Czech/ Eastern European food.
Wiener Schnitzel is my go to non only because it's gigantic (bigger than my face) but rather delicious.
Prices are extremely reasonable and portions are excellent.
Service is great.
Interior is old and outdated, but who cares, its all about the food and experience! My go-to place for Schnitzel in this part of town.
The best Pork Schnitzel in Canada! Period! If you come here and don't try the Pork Schnitzel - it is your loss! Don't pay much attention to the furnishings, they are pretty basic (lots of parking for Etobicoke though) - but order the Schnitzel right away and polish away a pint of great Czech beer while you wait. And the prices are great! Not like some fancy downtown Toronto places where they sell you a single burger for $25.
Go for the larger-than-a-dinner-plate sized schnitzel, stay for the potato salad. 100% would recommend… I hope it never changes

Schnitzel so big that absolutely has to be shared between two people, comes with great potato salad. They serve all the genuine Czech and Slovak favorites that I remember from back home. They serve Pilsner Urquell and Czechvar on tap, in my opinion the best beers.
Another Weiner schnitzel today, with a small appetizer, the schnitzel meal it is actually big enough to feed a family of four.
Just like Bubcha used to make. Authentic Slovak food. Fried cheese is just like I remember having it in a pub in Dolny Kubin. The goulash and dumplings was very good. The schnitzel is the biggest I’ve ever seen and so delicious. This is a family run business that puts the love in their food.
Great wiener schnitzel. Potion size was huge. Accompanied sides were ok. Rice was tasty. We actually ordered fries... but waiter thought we wanted rice. No worries; waiter gave us a huge side order. Interior of restaurant is a little dated; more like a pub. We could see they were very busy with takeout orders. Definitely need to come back and try menu items.
