Small location but the food is good and generally good value. Paid parking lots in the area and is sometimes busy. Service was generally good. Wasn't busy the few times I've been. But I generally go to another place with more seating and space in general.
Yall are trippin. Pork bone soup was delicious. Ladies are very nice. This isnt five star dining, but for what you pay for its top notch. I left with my belly full and i'll be back for more.
Went to this place recently after doing groceries. Not the greatest layout, they can't do much about it since they have such limited space. The service is amazing! All the guys are so funny and quick to get you whatever you need. The pork bone soup was pretty flavorful and came with such a huge amount. Bonus is that it is open 24 hours. A con is that the side dishes were not the greatest. Really bland and tasteless. I would come here again!
Good food, poor layout. The food was very flavourful and fresh, just delicious. The Bulgogi beef with glass noodles is a must-try. However the restaurant itself is too small, the tables are squished together, and when crowded, it becomes very noisy, hot and stuffy--not a comfortable eating experience. Sometimes when the restaurant is super busy, you'll practically have to share a table with other people (unless the 2 inches of space is enough for you). The décor is nothing to boast about either since there isn't much of it. Otherwise, the atmosphere is very casual, making the restaurant a good place to have a quick, inexpensive and delicious meal with friends/family or alone.
Since the eating experience is as important as the food itself for me, I would probably only return if I'm really craving some quality Korean food.
Delicious. A Little bit of a wait but was definitely worth it, food is cheap and the soon tofu soup is delicious! I really loved it there especially. However the restaurant is too small.
So good!!!. I wasn't there on opening weekend but there last weekend and again during the week and the food was amazing!!! It seems the business has not died down as we also had to wait in line but they seem to have a waiting system in place where they give you numbers now. I had the LA Kalbi and my friends had the pork bone soup. We were all really happy with our meals and overall just happy that they've opened an Owl of Minerva in Mississauga so we don't have to trek it to Toronto to eat the food.
Good but Very Small Location. I too visited on opening night. As expected, the lineup was long and we had to wait to get seated. Couldn't order the appetizers as they were sold out. The pork bone soup was good however the location has a very small number of tables.
Will give them a pass since it was their opening and will give them a try again.
I love the service. Oh come on its a Korean resto. The people there definitely going to be polite. And it's so quick tat you order and the food it's already there before you sip your beer. Best part it's open 24 hours. Another best part you can drink how much ever tea you want along wit the food. Tastes like water but tats their culture.
This restaurant is open 24 hours and is always busy! I've never once gone when there hasn't been a line up -- peak hours or not. However, the food is definitely worth the wait -- especially if you're craving some Gamjatang (pork bone soup). With an abundant portion of pork in one bowl, I'm always left extremely full and happy.
The large hot pot stews are great to share for 2 as well -- larger sizes are available for larger groups.
Other menu recommendations include: dumplings, bibimbap and spicy rice cake (huge plate)!
