I've been to Social Eatery on three separate occasions and I have to say the food and service are both excellent. I've had the Almond Crusted Chicken Tenders twice (they're that amazing!) and I've also tried the Hand-Breaded Buffalo Chicken Sandwich, which was delicious.
What's best about the food, aside from the taste, are the generous portion sizes you get for the prices - you're not leaving this place hungry. Also, this is one of the few bars in the Meadowvale/Erin Mills area that has an actual IPA on tap at all times, which is great if you like hoppy beers like I do.
Our server on two occasions was Julia M who really knew the beers/menu well and was literally running each time we had even the most basic of requests (a refill of water, extra sauce, etc.) I usually hang out at bars in Toronto where that kind of service just doesn't exist - she really takes it to the next level. Finally got around to checking out Social Eatery! The food was great, everyone enjoyed their meals. The service was lovely too, she was friendly and timely. Overall it's a great spot and I'll probably check it out again. We went on the Thursday before St Patricks Day around 7:30 and there was a DJ who played wretchedly awful Irish music all bloody evening. We eventually left and went across the parking lot for dessert because the music was cranked up to nightclub volume. Not sure if Social Eatery is trying to be a nightclub on weekends and they were trying to drive off us old folks, or if that particular DJ was just enjoying himself a bit too much... there were like 17 people in the entire place. Very weird vibe. We'll go back for the food and service, we'll just check first there isn't a DJ hiding in the corner ready to turn the place into a suburban strip mall nightclub at 8pm.
A new place I tried and loved! The service was great, our server was really attentive and nice. The food was even better, it’s crazy! I had the Pulled Pork and Fish Tacos as well as the Bacon Fries (MY FAV) I could eat there again and again. Loved the atmosphere, the service and the food was oh so good! Can’t wait to hit up the patio next time! It is close to Taps Public House, and I can see where the competition is, but if I had to choose it’s a no brainer to hit up Social Eatery instead!
Came for the pasta but they took it off menu so tried the Veggie burger and Cauliflower tacos, which were delicious. Sweet potato fries are worth the upgrade! Reasonably priced drinks and great service!
Had a great meal for lunch today! Nashville Apple Fritter sandwich with Bacon Salt Fries! Delicious food and unique find! I had to try it! Sweet, spicy, salty, creamy! Key lime dessert was the perfect follow up!
Just had dinner at social eatery.

By far the best experience in a restaurant in the last few years. From the time we got in, the hostess made sure to provide a table on the patio that is suitable for us with a 3 yr old and provided crayons and drawing paper without being asked. Next, our waiter Drew provided the best customer service and was very knowledgeable of the food and drinking menu. Food and drinks came out in records time.
