Great experience. The service was great. We were warmly welcomed and shown our seats. Get the unlimited refill sodas. They keep on refulling them without asking. Ensure you ask for no ice as they come overly diluted. The spread was gorgeously presented. Colourful, tasty, deliciously prepared items. There was a huge variety: cold bar with raw oysters and shrimps, sushi, noodles, chowmein, teppanyaki, grilled meats and roasts, sauces, soups, fried meats and rolls, a salad bar with a large variety, fruits, waffles, fried rice, an ice cream bar and desserts (both warm and cold) including cakes, custards, candy floss and too many things not mentioned. Definitely worth every penny spent. Will recommend. Go HUNGRY if you want to get the best of this wide array of food

Food was great! The prime rib was delicious and it wasn't much of a hassle to get. The cold bar with the shrimp was certainly welcome too. The wait staff really made us feel comfortable. Our server, Jenny, was very courteous and would promptly clear our plates, making us feel welcome to go for more. I remember the dessert options being particularly varied, and I personally loved the lime sherbet. Definitely left feeling full!

My husband and I went to this location today, made reservations for 11:30 and hadn’t been there for over two (2) years, in fact we haven’t been to ANY restaurant to sit in for that length of time. Back then, our last two experiences hadn’t been great, but we were willing to try again today. It was the GREATEST experience we have had at this location. From the moment we walked in, WOW, the restaurant was SO clean, sanitize stations at the entrance and throughout the restaurant, disposable gloves at every food station, washrooms cleaned from the walls, toilets inside and out and floors, sinks and handles. Our Waitress MAY was amazing, you couldn’t have asked for a cleaner environment and such a FRIENDLY, ATTENTIVE and well TRAINED waitress. Folks, we wore our masks when we went for food, pulled them down when we ate. The food was HOT, TASTY and PLENTIFUL and we made many, many trips. I made sure to thank the Manager/owner TIM and to tell him we had such a great experience and that MAY was what the Mandarin has always stood for—EXCELLENCE and QUALITY and that the FOOD was absolutely FANTASTIC. I have many allergies BUT, there was so much to choose from, so I stuffed myself and loved every morsel. Thanks for a GREAT experience, we will be back very soon. Laurel MacLean 😷🇨🇦

I am really upset at this locations cook staff.. I went to the diner buffet last night at 6pm and the diner closes at 9pm I went up and grabbed my first meal and then after finishing that plate I wanted 2nds on the steak. It was 6:40pm now and the cook staff told me there would be no more steak cutlets made tonight and the HUGE hunk of meat they had sitting on the side will be saved for tomorrow. I ended up leaving shortly after grabbing a slice of pie. I am not big on fish or pork and the chicken they had was pretty bland. And I looked forward to having a red meat dinner with 2nds being an option. If you want freshly made food and "all you can can eat buffet" please take the time and drive to the barrie location. They actually live up to that slogan
