tterly delicious kababs that are soft and moist. We’ve eaten a lot of Chapli kababs in Toronto, and all of that experience has come down to this: @bamiyankabob has the best ones in town
Amazing kabobs. Very good naans. Fast service. Fresh ingredients. Owner was gratuitous enough for me to peak in the kitchen. Here is a view of the grill. Clean and delicious.
My experience with this place has always been delightful. This is a place where you can choose from variety of meals to treat your bellies!
Tandoori chicken pieces sitting on a bed of rice with some salad proved to be a nice combination to me! And once you try this thing, there’s never going back!

Places like this get a 4* strictly for their well priced no- nonsense food. It's self service no alcohol diner specializing in #Afghanistani Kebabs. Right from the hot bready naan to the mildly spiced sauces, the food is a delight. Average price C$ 20pp (or less) with a cold beverage. The portions are generous from my point of view and any one dish is more than sufficient. Needless to add, I overate.
Mildly spiced Afghani cuisine served with complimentary (small) naans and rice. Portions are huge, so when orderibg be conservative, lest you want to take it away. Or if you are an American and can polish off supersizes!!
This was the second visit after a long long time. The place is neat and clean. There are so many varieties of kababs and each one of them is so unique and tasty (chicken). The food will fill your tummy and it fits your pocket as well. The naan along with it was so soft and the dip along with it just complimented it. Good place but it's so hard to finish everything on plate.
Bamiyan kabob is one of the better known Afghani restaurants in Mississauga.
Ambiance: The restaurant gives a fast food feel as people have to order at the cashier and wait for their turn to collect their order. Do not expect a fine dining experience. It is a casual restaurant, which is quite busy and lively, particularly in the evenings. The setting and interiors are basic, normal tables and chairs, you have to find your own spot.
Food: the food is fantastic. The meats are tender, succulent and flavorful. The naan is freshly made in the tandoor. They also give accompanying sauces with the food. The food is consistently good. I particularly enjoyed the seekh kabab and the tandoori chicken. The mango smoothie is good but too cold.
Pricing: relatively economical
Overall experience: the food is great, lively atmosphere, fun to hang out with the family or friends, not fancy at all.
One of the first quality afghan dine in places in the GTA. The food quality here is nothing short of excellent and the service is nothing short of exceptional. Anything you get on the menu will be cooked perfectly and served to you with portions that will keep you satisfied and coming back for more.
A short haiku review from me to you. Hope you enjoy it!

Tender, moist chicken.
Always busy, quick service.
Get mango smoothie! :)

Ordered chicken kabab n chapli kabab.chicken was really yummy n juicy.chapli kababs on da other hand were quite dry.
Portions were huge.good value for money.
At Bimayan Kabob, I ordered the chicken breast kabob. The chicken was very soft, juicy and tasty! Portion sizes were fairly large. Naan bread could have been a bit softer/fresher, but overall great food! This place was super busy when we were there, which shows it's a popular spot.
Probably some of the best kebabs you can have in the GTA . The lamb kebab meal is succulent and delicious. I love their naans too. It's a simple self-service restaurant with ample seating . Of course, the hero here is the food
Stopped by today after picking up friends at the airport. Absolutely, the best quick serve restaurant that I have been to. Food is consistent every time I go, and the value is very good considering quality of food, quantity and price. The place was relatively busy but they were able to get food out in exactly 13 minutes which is impressive. For casual dining this is a restaurant on the top of my list.
Good but not overly exciting. I have been to Bamiyan Kabob twice now and find the food is quality and well cooked, just not very flavourful. I have tried the Sultan Kabob Dinner and the Half Chicken. Both come with nan and salad but the dinners come with rice. If you get the dinner you will end up with LOTS of rice. The Sultan comes with ground beef kabob and steak kebob, assume it is fillet mignon. While the meat was cooked perfectly it lacked much spice and definitely needed salt imo. The chicken was also cooked perfectly but had more flavour and didn't seem to lack anything. The salad and rice are no fancy fare. I liked the nan but am no expert. I read a review or two that didn't think it was that good. The place was busy both times I went and they were both off hours. Order at the counter and wait for your number to be called but I am confused as to what they want done with the plates. They do have service people who get the trays and plates and wipe down the tables but do I bring my tray to the trash bin or just leave it on the table. Bamiyan Kabob is probably the closest to a not like of all my votes but the food is cooked properly, is fresh and quality whole food so I went with like. I will be back sometime but I have a lot of places I want to try. Almost forgot the mango smoothie. They are delicious!
Very Nice Kabob. Very nice Kabob. I love the lamb specially. The rice is great, Will be back
BEST place ever. I go at least 2 times a week. Food is extremely fresh and delicious it even melts in your mouth. The bread is by the greatest naan I have ever eaten. Chicken kufta is my favorite. (7 pieces of chicken breasts, and a line of ground beef/kabob). For the most part it is always clean and the food will always come after 5/10 minutes, even if it is busy. I nightly recommend you try this place, you'll love it.
I went to Bamiyan Kabob at 5120 Dixie Rd. Mississauga ON L4W 4J7 . My favorite 2 dinner plates are Sultani Kabob ( combination of Barg Kabob and Kofta Kabob ) that is $ 12.49 . My last favourite dinner plate is Tikka Kabob ( chunks of beef with seasoning ) that is $ 9.99 ! Last when I am done eating I , get dessert and soft beverages , usually for my drink I get a mango Smoothie that is $ 1.99 ! When I go there there has to be a line going out the door ! So that means they should make better space and make it HUGE .
Here are some Pro's about Bamiyan :
The 3 reasons that Bamiyan is great : 1 = Has good service , like food comes in 10 - 15 min , even if you have a large order , they still have people working in the back . 2 = comes fresh off the grill , it is healthy and not frozen that u freeze it then make it , in Bamiyan they have fresh Food . 3 = It is good price if you are going for dinner you may need $ 10 - 15 , it even has salad , rice and meat that is good for protein if you need it !
Here are some Con's about Bamiyan :
The 3 reasons that Bamiyan is great : 1 = Has dirty table , should clean after people leave , have sofa that pizza hut have ! 2 = Less area to sit , always lines waiting people to leave , so they should buy a store next to them and add that on to Bamiyan Kabob . 3 = Less food variety , not fruits and bread and desserts , so they should add that like Paramount .
Rating Bamiyan Kabob : 4 2⁄3 // 5
The Mississauga location has the best food - I avoid the Markham location bcus the food has no taste.
I recommend the Beef Tikka meal.
Got the tandoori kabob dinner and boyfriend for the barg dinner, both was delicious and we both enjoyed the rice and meat, but our salad was a little dry and not very fresh. Definitely coming back though!!
Love this place! I eat here every Saturday! The food is amazing, fresh, and so tasty! Great prices with excellent service! I 200% recommend this place to everyone!
Amazing food, consistent quality and goos service.
Generous portions. Stopped in close to 11pm on a Friday night. The place was packed. Always a good sign of good food. Got the 1/2 chicken dinner. Highly recommend it.
Good, Fresh Food, Courteous Service, what more can you ask for?. I don't know what "authentic" Afghan food, but this place is good, fresh, and cashiers - not really "servers" - seem really friendly!
You order at the counter, cashier was willing to explain items on menu, given an order #, sit down, 'til your # is called. Dining room was hoppin', yet clean. Kitchen is somewhat open and hopefully that was as clean as the dining room.
I ordered a Kofta Kabob Dinner ($8.99) and it came with a side salad, some kinda salsa-like spicy sauce, a crispy naan, and a bed of rice. Pretty reasonable considering that you could have some leftovers to take home if you're not that hungry!
Kofta was nicely seasoned and had a kick to it. My friend ordered the Chaplee (looked like hamburger patties) and the flavour was more subtle, less spicy. I actually preferred the Kofta. Great place for a quick, inexpensive meal, so I'd definitely visit again!
P.S. Be nice, by clearing your own table, and asking attendants where you can place your dirty dishes.
Great food!. The only downside is eating with some of the uncivilized customers that go there..
Best damn kofta kebobs ever (and I have sampled a large number)! Simple decor but very clean, and my God, the food! Will go back for sure!
Best Afghani food in Mississauga so far. I always have "Sultani Kabab" with rice. Fast and clean food service.
The half chicken comes with rice, salad and naan bread. I ordered that one meal and it was so much food it fed myself and my husband. Good food and reasonably priced.
A family friend's chain of Afghan food restaurants! Amazing kabobs and rice. Simple and excellent food, great service, and fast if you're in a rush. What more can u ask for?
Good food however the seating hall is extremely noisy. Seating is uncomfortable. Quick in and out lunch/ dinner place
Middle Eastern Fix. I left the hotel looking for something to eat for supper and found myself in front of Bamiyan Kabob, I noticed a large line inside and full dining area. Well if it is that busy there must be a reason why right! Very plain interior plenty of seating for all the customers that kept coming in, I placed my order and waited for my number to be called. The food portioning is very large here I ordered the Tandoori Chicken Dinner with bottle of water for $13.99, you get rice, salad, chicken, and naan bread. Full of flavor and large enough to fill you up. They boast exceptional service but only deliver polite staff, but the food is very simple and taste good enough to return.
This delicious authentic establishment features an extremely simple menu of tasty delights cooked with flavorful spices, cooked at the right temperature and just enough to put me into a food baby status. Known to be the “best Afghan halal cuisine in the city,” this place is great to go to for lunch and dinner. The price range is moderate (ranges fro
The prices and portions were good, the dinners range from $9 - $13 dollars and the portions are very generous. You will definitely be full if not have leftovers to take home!
Bamiyan Kabob says its a contemporary Afghan restaurant with a warm and inviting atmosphere and service that will exceed your expectations transporting you thousands of mile for an exotic experience. Well lets just say I went 2.6 Kilometers from my hotel
I went to this place third time with my friend. I ordered Aloo Pranthas and rice and really liked it. Especially Rice is amazing. I loved it. Would recommend to try some delicious food. One of my 'go to' places.
Excellent Afghan Food, a must go. Always crowdy but food is worth it.
