Incredible food. Amazing service. Brilliant plating/presentation of food. You can tell they are and take pride in their work. From front of house to back of house, we had a flawless experience. WAY better than the Keg. Our food came out so quickly I was so impressed. Their smoked rib eye and filet mignon are to die for. I haven't had meat this well prepared at a restaurant in a long time. Seriously, I don't see how anyone could complain about this place. I love the decor and atmosphere too and our server was super great to talk with. Would recommend. Will probably be back in the next week or two. I'm already craving the rib eye again. Johnny was our server. He's fantastic!

Went to Chop yesterday evening. Atmosphere was nice and food was tasty. That alone would be worth 4 stars but our server Kira was super friendly and provided top notch service! So 5 stars it is!
We had a great experience at Chop. Tyler our waiter was awesome - we were there out of town and he made some great recommendations - we had a severe allergy in the group and they were careful, aware and attentive. The outdoor patio is a great atmosphere - will definately go back!
I would absolutely recommend Chop Meadowvale to anyone looking for the perfect dining experience! My steak was cooked perfectly (which almost never happens at other steakhouse chains I've been to). And our bartender Bennett was awesome...was super knowledgable and friendly, especially despite it being a crazy busy night!
Excellent staff, quick service (table was always clean), excellent food (we had the fish and chicken), very good portion sizes (very satisfying) and reasonably priced. We will be back!!
Have been to this Chop location many times and it has always been a great experience. The steak bites are my favourite app and never disappoint :) Bennett is the best bartender I’ve ever had - he remembers my drink order without fail. Will be back soon for sure!
Had dinner with a bunch of friends came all the way from New Jersey and had a great time! Kira was very friendly and offered us all of the help we needed with the food items. I had the smoked rib eye (Kira’s recommendation) and it did not fail to disappoint. Would love to come back and have more steak and visit Kira!
They accommodated a group of 11 on the fly, put us on the patio when it was closed, but warm enough to really enjoy the atmosphere. Kat was amazing as was Alex. Perfect sense of ensuring the guest experience but not overbearing.
My family and I went to Chop for the first time yesterday to celebrate my birthday and I should say that food excellent and customer service was superb like no other! We've had really good ones in the past but this was the best ever in the history of customer service! Kudos Chop! You have great people working for you!

So after driving by this restaurant many times, I finally decided to try it today. I entered at lunch time and the hostess was friendly and greeted me right away. I chose to sit at the bar top and met the bartender Jamie who took great care of me. I ordered the prime rib and fries lunch portion which was listed at 9oz. To be honest, when it came out it looked more like a 7oz piece. It was cooked medium rare as I requested and was pretty good. The horseradish was freshly made which was a nice touch. The fries and salad were okay as well. The beer was about average price. The ambience of the restaurant is very welcoming.

Delicious Ceasars. Crab cakes were excellent and the honey goat cheese mushroom appetizer was so flavorful.
I had the Steak Oscar and it was pretty good. The sauce separated from the heat of the plate, some bites of meat were a little chewy but the scallops were cooked to perfection.
We ordered some delicious takeout recently from Chop Steakhouse and let us tell you it didn't feel like your average takeout - in fact it felt like a nice at home dining experience! They also have a heated patio so that you can visit during the winter and stay cozy. From the menu we ordered:

- Miso Glazed Salmon
- Flourless Chocolate Torte

This was my first experience at CHOP because I am usually a " The Keg" kind of person. The location looks modern and well appointed.
I have to commend the wait staff because they were trained the proper way. Our waiter John was attentive, friendly and helpful. I give them all 5 stars really.
I really do not like the booths at this location. They are so uncomfortable. Perhaps for a party of 2, then it will be perfect. But for a party of 4 adults with jacket and coats, it really is a let down. There is no place to hang your jackets. The person who led us to the booth mentioned that they can bring a coat rack. But it never came. For the record, I never asked to be moved and be seated at a table.
Around 7-8PM as the dinner crowds arrived, the temperature in the restaurant became really hot and a bit unbearable. I can see that some other guests began to take off their sport jackets and sweaters etc. You get the point. If this was the dead of winter, I can understand. But it is late April ...why is the heat still blasting away???
The food is a mix bag and it may be a case of YMMV. I believe that the steaks / prime rib ( Beef ) items are fantastic. But their seafood offerings leave a bit more to be desired.
The crab cakes ( appetizer ) lacked any crab taste / flavour at all. And I have had my share of crab cakes all along the US East Coast and in the Maritimes.
The miso glazed salmon was not very tasty I am afraid. I really expected more chef skills and freshness on this dish. Perhaps choosing the method of baking this dish is the issue. I am not sure really.
To this end, I will not return. But I have to say that I saw many happy faces among the families, friends etc. that were enjoying their time here.

Very attentive staff that knew the menu. The atmosphere of the place was fresh and felt like a nice steakhouse. Appetizers hit the right note, and the main courses were exactly as ordered. The customized cocktails were delicious. I don't even have a critique other than wanting more of the great butter with the charity bread.
The ambiance is great, the drinks were yummy, the steak was to die for, but the service! Maybe I forgot what it's like out in the world as it was only my second outing since being in lock down, but the staff are amazing. My party and I felt very well taken care of from the moment we walked in. Loved every bit of my experience at the Chop!

have got really amazing food😋 I enjoyed every bit of my evening. Our server... RUBIN was really good too... He helped us in everything from drinks to appetizers to main course with some tasty suggestions.. The place is totally worth it👌🏻👌🏻

I was here for a bachelor party. Only 8 of us but we received excellent service. We were joking around with our waitress and having a great time catching up with friends with great conversation.
The drinks and food were excellent. I got the 20oz ribeye steak and I was not disappointed. Excellent flavor and cooked perfectly medium rare.
I will have to go back because it was such a great experience and I really enjoyed the food.
