Real nice restaurant. Great menu and hard to chose because it all looks delicious! Real Italian taste and great food. Very friendly owner and staff. I had the lamb with a Chianti red wine......excellent choice!

My husband and I celebrated our 10th wedding anniversary at Michael ‘s Backdoor Restaurant. We had a private room for us and our guests and the experience was wonderful. The room was intimate and inviting. The food was delicious-everything was fresh and full of flavour. The most important aspect for us was that the restaurant was able to cater to food allergies and they were happy to do so. There were many foods, including 2 desserts, that were free from eggs and nuts. This meant our guest was able to enjoy a wonderful meal, with several choices, just like the rest of us. One of the items our guest requested may have contained nuts so the chef was able to make the same food, with a slight variation, therefore making it safe for this person to eat. This was appreciated more than you know! Anthony and Angela were very friendly and personable. They made sure we had everything we needed and had a nice balance of checking in on us and giving us space to celebrate privately. They even recognized our special day with dessert which was a lovely surprise. We will definitely be back and would recommend Michael’s Backdoor Restaurant to anyone!
First time. Great food ( especially the Caesar Salad and seafood pasta). Cheesecake really is home made, very light and delicious. Sean the server was excellent. Will be back again.
