Fantastic sushi restaurant. Excellent, prompt and friendly service. Cheerful ambience. The cherry on the cake is the delicious, fresh sushi. The bento boxes, fancy rolls, tuna/salmon rolls, Alaskan rolls, Victorian rolls, well, everything I have eaten there and those I have shared meals with love it!
For toppers, my dad just celebrated his 92nd birthday having dinner with friends and family at Mission Hills Sushi. A complete and utter surprise to him (and us) was when the sushi chef asked if we would like him to play happy birthday on the trumpet for dad. Of course we said yes! And WOW could he play! Dad LOVED it! It was such an amazing evening. We went away full bellies and happy hearts!
Food quality tops any place near this price catagory, top notch service and generous portions. Never write reviews, but thought these guys deserved it. I was immediately impressed on my first visit. The chefs exude authenticity and clearly care about their product.
For a great value, start with the 9.95 bento box. The portions are so generous you would almost feel guilty if thats the only thing you ordered.
The common rolls I have tried are all delicious, close to as good as I have ever had. The high quality of the beef in the Teryaki also stands out in particular since it is often the weak point at this price.
The tempura is not transcendant compared to some I have had, but perfectly battered light and crisp.
As great as the food is, the service is equally impressive. Every visit has been met with extremely dedicated wait staff. Again, beyond what one would expect given the price.

Love Mission Hills Sushi. Great little family run sushi place in Mission. By far mine and my husbands new favorite -and we have tried a lot of them in Mission. Very fresh, very affordable. Large portions. Service is great, super friendly family. The Sushi chef is awesome, and he makes it all on his own.
Best sushi!!!. Our family is a huge fan of sushi. I've been in Japan myself and visited many high quality food restaurants. Our Mission Hills Sushi is very special. After eating here, we dont go to any other sushi restaurant. Thank you very much for your great job!
Great service, great ambiance, and most importantly, great food! The sushi rolls are all creatively named and are also delicious! I prefer sashimi over actual sushi rolls, but the rolls here are really good. The sashimi is very fresh and very generous-portion wise. If you're in Mission and craving sushi, Mission Hills is the place to go! (:
My favorite sushi place in Mission. Super friendly service, always fresh food, large portions, very affordable and family run. I love sushi and have eaten at many places throughout the lower mainland and these guys place in my top five favorites.

Six sushi restaurants in Mission, this one is the best. I have tried Mission Hills Sushi 3 times in the first week they have been open. The experience has been good every time. I have ordered the tamago roll, Las Vegas roll, veggie sunomono, miso soup, veggie roll, tempura california roll and it was all very good. My friend had the volcano roll and assorted sashimi plate and it was also very good. This is my new favorite sushi restaurant in Mission BC.
