I can't recommend this place enough! We stumbled upon this place the other night by accident and were pleasantly surprised. The food, atmosphere and wait staff were superb. Great selection of beer on tap. But the real treat was Eddie the owner. You are not going to find a nicer, more hospitable, proprietor anywhere! Keep up the great work...we'll be back soon!!!

Food was good and the service and staff were very friendly. Variety could be better but overall one of the few great places to eat in Milton.

Fun and good food. Friendly service as well. The patio on a nice evening is the best. Reasonably priced. I had the salmon and smashed potatoes. Very good.

I'll be back.. Have been meaning to try this place since it opened - glad I finally did.

My companion and I were seated immediately. I'm not used to that on a Friday night; what a pleasant surprise! Greeting was warm and friendly and it was a nice introduction to the space.

Service is prompt and friendly; staff know the menu and importantly, like the food served there. The chairs are low - abnormally so, I'd say, and I'm not that tall - but that's a personal preference thing for me. Style-wise, the restaurant has a modern/industrial feel with a few things to look at (read: framed magazine covers of Oasis; song titles from 80s and 90s pop/rock stencilled artistically) on the walls. At dinner hour, we heard the song stylings of Oasis, Pat Benatar, and others; the noise level is normal for a bar, but the setup means that you can still have a conversation - and not overhear the one of the table adjacent to you. The feel is urban cool, which is different-in-a-good-way from other neighbourhood haunts - a step up, to be sure.

Drinks are slightly more expensive than you'll find elsewhere in Milton, but that's because they're of a slightly higher calibre. My companion's Electric Ice Tea was a hit (their version of the Long Island Iced Tea); I found SuperNova to be a little heavy on the curacao, and needed time to mellow - still tasty, even if slightly more syrupy than I'm used to. I've seen this place described as a wine bar; I wouldn't go that far (one would require a much more extensive wine list, by the bottle or glass, and articulate that you're getting it from a "cellar", not a "seller.") Nonetheless, the sauv blanc I had at dinner was light and crisp and paired well with the dishes I ordered. Recommended.

The highlight of the night was the food. Appetizers were the calamari for me and wings (medium) for my companion. The calamari was fresh-to-order and fried whole, then sliced; I've not seen it done this way before. The portion size is large enough to share between 2 people, but I like my calamari so easily scarfed the whole thing. No tentacles, for you picky people. My companion described the wings as smaller than found elsewhere - but the sheer number of wings, and the amazing delicious sauce in which they were finished left him saying that they could compete for the best in town. From what I gather they make their own "medium" wing sauce. Nailed it.

Our mains were the ultimate burger and the shrimp penne. Both were made-to-order, served hot off the pass. My companion and I have toured the GTA and sampled many delicious burgers (Stockyards, Burger's Priest, Holy Chuck, et al) and this burger can compete. Fresh ground, cooked medium-well, very juicy, innovative presentation. The shrimp in my pasta dish were buttery and still tender; the sauce was rich, creamy, and totally left me wanting to lick the bowl, even if I could not possibly have eaten another bite due to complete fullness. We had no room for dessert, but I imagine we'll be back to sample what looks to be a promising menu.

TL&DR: Great food, step-above atmosphere, solid service. Would go again.

Good place for: date night, girls' night out, (at the bar) watching the game.

Protip: Carpool. The back lot is crowded, and we all know transit options in this town go to bupkes once the sun goes down.
