I've been going to Golden Bell ever since they opened, and I love it. The service has always been good, and what's really attractive is the value of the food in my opinion. Even with rising food prices every year, Golden Bell delivers and I always leave happy.
If there is a single critique I can give, it's that their Vietnamese food (particularly the Pho and Vermicelli bowls) is much higher quality than their other Asian dish offerings. Highly recommend the beef pho with spicy peanut broth, #47, that stuff is amazing. Try using hoisin and sriracha as dipping sauce for the beef and the noodles, but don't mix it with the soup!
Word of warning for the subs tho, they put in large slices of what I believe are jalapeños. Really tasty subs, but the peppers can really sneak up on you.
Great food, great staff. Try number 47. Its a beef soup with a spicy peanut broth. Absolutly mouth watering. Would eat at this place everyday of i could.
Great food and great service at very reasonable prices! If you've never tried Vietnamese cuisine this is the place to check it out! If you know and love Vietnamese cuisine this is the place to try new flavours. If I'm not working, every Sunday is Superbowl Sunday at the Golden Bell. .. check it out and find out what I mean. You'll thank yourself!

Reasonably Priced, Fast Efficient Service. The restaurant is clean with well spaced tables. No tablecloths.
The place settings are a ceramic Chinese soup spoon, large plastic chop-sticks, each placed on a napkin.
Free Wifi is advertised, but you need to ask for the code to access it.
My wife had #59 on the menu. Charbroiled Pork, Spring Rolls & Grilled Pork Balls on Rice Vermicelli.
I had #94, opting for the spicy Stir Fried Chicken with Thailand Style Curry Sauce on Steamed Rice.
Service was fast, in fact we were served in less than 10 minutes.
My wife's meal was served in a good sized bowl and the only comment was on the Pork Balls, which she thought seemed more like slices of wiener sausage.
The plate my meal was served on was oval, and not very deep. In fact the sauce was almost running over the edges.
I prefer my sauce to be served in a separate dish, which allows me to pour the sauce over the rice as needed.
I mentioned this to the manager, who said that I should request this at my next visit.
All in all we enjoyed the meal, which was reasonably priced. We will return to sample other items on the menu.
Awesome menu selection, not too spicy but can be heated up if you requested. With Sabi still closed this will be on the top of our favorites.
