Had wanted to try Daddy Cool’s since we were here last year on vacation. Finally made it in late this afternoon and had an all round excellent experience. The seafood chowder was piping hot and because we told our friendly server we were sharing it, they split the soup into two servings with two pieces of garlic bread. So unexpected and very nice!! We both ordered the Mile Zero burger and we were NOT disappointed. Super yummy delicious. Reasonable prices too. We had two different servers and they were both friendly and fast! Will definitely be a go to spot when we are in Massett.
Outstanding service, delicious food, friendly locals. What more could you ask, honestly. I walked away happy, to be honest though the only reason I came here originally was because I saw a copy of the menu on here and noticed the teriyaki chicken burger, when I read the menu and asked about it the service attendant informed me that the burger had been discontinued but the cook could still make it as an of menu item (paraphrasing) so I wholeheartedly accepted, was delicious. Listening to the locals made me laugh and was even randomly greeted by a few which made me feel really good about this town. The chilled mugs were a nice touch, felt like I was drinking my cider out of an ice mug. Thank you for a great experience and making this out of Towner welcome.
Surprisingly good food and reasonable prices. Decor inside was a bit odd and not a big fan of the bathroom being right beside one of the tables inside, but other than that, was a good dining experience.
We just had coffee and the house special soup but it was great. The food and the service. The owners mom even came over and talked for awhile
We ended up spending a day in Masset due to mechanical issues with our flight out... With a group of 50+ piling in from a Fishing Lodge and Daddy Cool's managed to do just as their name says and keep there cool while they quickly served everyone drinks and food with a smile! Must try the pork bits!
