Bourbon St. Grill in Markham is located in Markville Mall. There are many food options in Markville Mall and the quality of the food isn't too bad. I decided to check out Bourbon St. Grill after trying some of my friend's shrimp and green beans (which tasted pretty good).
Bourbon St. Grill has many options for sides such as corn, mashed potato, green beans and steamed vegetables. They have a ton of meat options as well such as chilli chicken, beef and shrimp. I decided to go with the green beans, jambalaya rice, shrimp and blackened chicken. The portion size was good (in fact, it was enough for two people). The rice had good flavour. The blackened chicken had a nice tangy taste to it. The shrimp was pretty good as well. Yet, the green beans were way too oily for my liking and a bit bland. Overall, the food was a bit too oily for me. Although it tasted pretty good, I couldn't handle the amount of oil in my food.
It would taste so much better if they used less oil!
