I knew what I wanted and ordered right away what I have been ordering lately at Swiss Chalet ... a half chicken dinner with corn. It's Weight Watcher friendly (just seven points!) and it was good. The corn was previously frozen but warm. The chicken was a large serving and hot and really tender. The roll was warm and the sauce had a nice bite.

Lisa was my server. She was really friendly and chatty (she too is doing Weight Watchers and we exchanged tips) and took good care of me.

Excellent chicken & ribs!. Went there tonight for dinner. In town on business form Pittsburgh. I was very excited to find a place with no shellfish on the menu, but then to also have BBQ ribs & chicken?

Excellent! I may hit this place up again before the week's out. The ribs were meaty, the sauce on them was great, the skin on the chicken was cripsy & it was very moist inside.

The spicy fries were OK... not bad, but I didn't like the BBQ dipping sauce that came with the meal.

The cole slaw was OK... but I'm pretty picky about that. I will definitely go back, would have the same thing again... but also wouldn't be afraid to try anything on their allergy-free (for me) menu!

Don't know what the Swiss have to do with BBQ ribs, & when you say "chalet", I don't exactly picture a chain restaurant... but I'll try not to question a good thing!

I see there's some in NY, hope they make their way to PA soon!

Overall a decent place to grab a quick lunch or dinner. Nothing to go out of your way for, but the chicken is typically good in taste and cooked well. They also make some tasty sweet potatoes fries as well. Also a good alternative for takeout or delivery once in a while, if you’re looking to change things up a bit. The service is generally on point and timely.
