Great food. Best customer service. We have tried Chicken Souvlaki, Philly Steak, Chicken Philly and New York Steak. Superb. My kids loved it. The best part is its halal.
I used to come to this place for lunch every day until my work moved... Now I only make it in for dinner every once in a while. It's funny you don't know what you miss until it's gone.
Great atmosphere, really friendly staff always up with a joke or two it's nice to see this kind of friendly attitude hadn't all disappeared.
I recommend this fit the food but also for the atmosphere, wife and kids love it, too bad we live a bit far too make it a weekly thing.
Greek food restaurant with delicious food and generous portions. I went there in the evening ordered the chicken souvlaki with a drink. The order took less than 10 minutes to prepare and cost less than $10. When I got home I shared the meal with my 10 year old very picky twin boys. There was plenty of food for all of us and everyone loved it. The flavoured rice was particularly tasty as was the greek salad that came with the meal!
Part of the Commnity. This place is great. A good variety of Mediterranean food served up like an Italian hot table. Service is fantastic as well. My second visit to Milano came about a month after my first and they remembered my order asked how my son was. The're a part of the community.
Great food...was our first time... they had many options...we tried the Philly cheese steak and chicken souvlaki. They are generous with their servings and it tasted great! We would recommend them & will definitely go back.

Great souvlaki!. This is my favourite place for chicken souvlaki. I like some places on the Danforth too but there is just something so special about the Food Works. I’ve gotten takeout from here for many years. I always order the same thing, the 2 stick chicken souvlaki diner. It includes potato, rice, tzatziki sauce and pita warmed on their flaming grill. A Greek salad is also included. It’s a lot of food! It’s always marinated and cooked to perfection.
The guy who cooks is also really nice and calls everyone “friend” or “boss”. He seems to remember all of the customers saying things like “I haven’t seen you in a while, how have you been”
The restaurant is OK, so you can stay and eat your meal there too. I stayed for lunch a few times but prefer to get diner to take home. They have an outdoor patio in the summer. There is free parking in front and more to the side or back.
Try the chicken souvlaki, you won’t be disappointed!
Best veal sandwich in the city! I've been coming here for 4 years and their food is consistently amazing. The veal is amazing, the souvlaki is amazing (homemade tzatziki is fantastic). Never had a bad meal here in my life.
Loyal customer for life. They even have a customer loyalty card, and the staff and the friendliest group you'll interact with!

BEST GREEK FOOD AND VEAL SANDWICHES. I been going there for 3 years the food is very nice and the souvalaki meals and veal sandwichs are so big. Their price is very reasonable also they have excellent customer service. Go try their food you wont regret it.
Any for those who don't like their food, try telling them about it! I bet they'll listen and make it better.

Awesome Place - Great Value. I order from Milano's ALL the time. They always deliver ON TIME... no surprises! Fazli is the manager. As far as take out places go, he's great, and so are the rest of the staff. They're friendly and always get you what you want with a smile on their faces. And it isn't just sandwiches, their greek food is awesome, too! I order for work functions all the time... never any complaints. In fact, our staff keeps asking for it, even when given other options. If you want something healthier, try the greek salad with the chicken souvlaki on it! For the amount of times I have their food, I'm surprised I haven't gotten tired of it, and I have it at least once a week. And if you're worried about price, he's got a hot table that offers 2 items for $7.50. How could you go wrong with lunch for $7.50? And this is home style food we're talking about, not some pre-fabricated chain franchise stuff that makes you feel like you're eating fake food. Any for those who don't like his food, try telling them about it! I bet they'll listen and make it better.
Great food & staff. I have been working in the area for 2 years and have only just found this place. Love the food, amazing staff and great energy. Best veal in town! Although the Indian guy is loud and annoying it's a great place. But he keeps forgetting my name and calling me "buddy" or "boss". The girls they have working there are very upbeat and helpful. Definitely check this place out, you won't be disappointed.
The Chicken Cutlet and the Veal were a good choice. However, we found the batter for both the Chicken Cutlet and Veal were oddly similar and wished they had their own distinct flavours. The Chicken Souvlaki was nicely marinated and seasoned and a heavy contender for the best dish that day.
