We had dinner here for the third time now.   Food was as good as prior visits.  Had to come back to have the Crispy Beef again.  Crispy Beef is amazing, crispy, sweet, flavourful, much better than the "other" Hakka place next door.  The Chili Chicken (dry version) and the Chicken Cantonese Chow Mein were also excellent.    Unlike most Chinese restaurants, you have to wait several minutes before the food arrives.   I think that is a good thing.   Food is prepared fresh and well cooked and flavoured.     Prices are very reasonable and wait staff are very friendly.    A very comfortable and warm ambiance.  Can't wait to go back.

Visited here because they had a deal on Groupon which is essentially a bill credit. Glad I saw it because if you're looking for an affordable, flavourful, dinner that reminds you of flavours from your childhood (or your Indian or Asian friend's childhood) then this is a good place to come by for dishes that have some spice, some bold flavour and some familiarity.

It's right across from Costco so makes a good after shopping trip for a meal. HUGE portions.

I recommend the house special chow mein. Any of the manchurian dishes too are great.

Atmosphere is very greasy spoon, but the food is on point for when you some want something hearty, yet full of flavour.

Originally our plan was to grab lunch at Federick Restaurant next door, but it was closed on Boxing Day and we ended up at their neighbour Hakka King. The restaurant was simple and clean. It wasn’t very busy and there were an even number of customers getting takeout vs. dining in. Hakka King still felt new with customers closely reading the menu and asking lots of questions. Over time, I can see this becoming a go-to spot in the neighbourhood.
