Really good place in the ninth line area. Fish was crispy and clean. The oil was fresh. Good friendly service. And yes the fish is from the ocean. Take it easy!
A casual joint with friendly service and hearty portions. Excellent fish and chips! I had the wild-caught Alaskan halibut, hand cut in-house. The fish was lightly battered and not oily, and I really liked the homestyle tartar sauce - making for a tasty meal. A nice compliment to the fish is the Greek salad.
This is by far the best fish and chips in the GTA, we'll worth the drive and the the menu is plentiful, but really just go with the Halibut
Pricey but good fish and great coleslaw.
All the way out here is this mom-and-pop fish and chip joint. The restaurant was small and cozy and it was pretty busy for a weekday afternoon. I tried the Halibut ($11.95). It was very meaty, and I liked how it wasn't too greasy. Even the fries weren't that greasy either. They have some boat models on display in the restaurant to go with the name of the restaurant, Bluenose.
