This place is tucked inside an alley off of Markham Main Street. It’s a good thing they have a noticeable heart sign otherwise you might miss it. This hidden gem has amazing gelato. We ordered the pistachio and hazelnut flavors. They were very creamy and not overly sweet. The people working there all have great smile on their place and it seems like they enjoy working there very much. They did not have any of the alcohol infused favors when we were there. So next time we will make sure to preorder them. Looking forward to try all the flavors.

More importantly, I want to share my experiences with the delivery at time of writing. They have a pretty robust ordering system for their Love Box assorted packs but they are missing the time of delivery checkbox. I tried emailing them by responding to the order confirmation email with my time of preference for delivery. Only one of the two deliveries arrived on time and I feel like that is an area of improvement where they can at least provide me a confirmation of some sort beyond the automated email. If this is a catering order for your private function or wedding, I strongly encourage actively communicating with them to ensure the delivery comes on time. No hard feelings but I genuinely want this local favorite to thrive for years to come!

Great gelato in a shop located in an alley off of main street Markham. Tried the lemon and strawberry flavours and were impressed with both. Both had smooth textures and were flavourful and not overtly sweet. Highly recommend to try this shop when visiting main street.

Cute little gem in the heart of Main St. Markham. Service was fantastic - the staff were able to answer all of my dietary questions with ease - they know what is in their product. Greatly appreciate that there are multiple flavours of dairy free gelato - I have tried wild blueberry, lemon and chocolate - absolutely wonderful! Their takeout box is a great option in lieu of a birthday cake or traditional pastries with all the dietary considerations (gluten free, dairy free and Keto). Online ordering is also available.

I tried the Gelato from this shop for the first time. We tried the Chinese Lunar New Year flavours. My whole family is totally amazed that all of the flavors were so on point and so delicious. The black sesame was our favourite. The box was beautifully decorated with such an artistic hand-written message. We will buy from this shop again!

I got a taste of Gelato after I recently tried Stella Luna in Ottawa. This place comes close.
Positives: Their chocolate and Pistaccio flavors were really good. They were the right textures and sweetness. I would highly recommend both
Negatives: The Oreo flavor was not as good, felt more like regular ice cream than gelato. The chocolate biscuit was not good and very over priced.
Overall a great place and highly recommended.

What a treat to get gelato at Love Gelato on Main Street Markham! Situated in a tucked away spot down between two buildings, this is one of the most surprisingly great places to visit. The staff is always friendly, the gelato is delicious, and you always walk away wanting to come back (again and again!)

Finally made it out to love gelato. The first time I went I was a little early and I couldn't wait around for them to open. This time I made sure that would I was in the area so I can go try the gelato.
The gelato flavour was very good. I got chocolate and hazelnut. Very good flavour very good gelato overall.
