Their butter chicken was amazing! Visited on a friend's recommendation, was not at all disappointed. The naans were made nice and soft. The service was good too. Overall, good place for authentic Indian food in Toronto.

We reached there around 11:30 am and our's was only the 2nd table to be occupied. The wait staff was very polite and courteous in ensuring that we could sit where we wanted to - right in front on 2 massive wall-mounted TVs.
However, the restaurant started filling up and was full to the brim by noon.

It was on to the buffet then. We had had a wonderful experience at their Brampton location. The ambience and the decor at the Markham location looked much newer and nicer.

As usual, there was an enormous selection of appetizers - both veg and non-veg. And being hardcore meat-eaters, we of course gravitated to the non-veg aisle. We liked the Tandoori Chicken, Chicken Sheek, Chicken Tikka, Button Mushrooms and Potato Tikki. The Fish Pakora, samosa and pakora were just about passable.

The curries were quite nice too with the Daal Makhani, Butter Chicken, Chilli Chicken and Goat Vindaloo being the standouts. Hot and fresh naans were served at the table and the staff were very quick to replenish the naan basket and kept trying to ply us with fresh naans until we told them that we couldn't have any more.
Please try the noodles as well - they are made in a unique indian-style with an achaari taste.

The desserts - Carrot Halwa and Gulab Jamoon in particular were superb. We had not liked the rasmalai the last time so avoided it. The basundi looked inviting but we were very full by that time. The kids enjoyed their ice-cream.

We ordered a couple of coffees to round off the meal but the coffees were very very disappointing. Please steer clear of them.

This place is now officially in our once-a-monthly-visit queue given the taste of the food, the hospitality and bill ($65 for 2 adults + 2 kids with tax and tip).

It's a pretty good clean place that serves good north Indian food. I guess if you don't mind the little extra buffet price you will like the place pretty much. Also, they do have a good variety of vegetarian and non-veg food. And the best part is - it's an all day buffet!

I have been there several times over the past few months. It is an Indian buffet restaurant serving standard Indian faire as well as some other dishes for those
Who may not like Indian food. The atmosphere is good and the restaurant is clean. The staff are helpful and the food is fresh and consistent and very reasonably priced.

This restaurant was a great find.

As team leader, I organized the last dutch lunch with my team for departing co-op students. One place that I have always been curious about was India's Taste. It has been many years since I visited this place and probably due for a revisiting. With one of the co-op students having a meeting crunch at 1pm today, we decided to leave for lunch at 11am (so early).

India’s Taste is an all day buffet serving vegetarian and non-vegetarian options, pastries, and sweets. They’re open seven days a week. They also service a la carte items too.

They bring you fresh naan bread to your table but sometimes you have to wave the server down for some extra naan or water at your table. It’s a very casual restaurant and fit for families and gatherings.

I love India's Taste. I usually come here with my family and they nail it every time.
India's Taste keeps getting better each time we come back. They have TVs everywhere and Bollywood movies are playing on them.

They give out complimentary naan but I usually ask for roti.

You can see a friendly man at the back, making papadums and naan.

They have a variety of both vegetarian and meat items to appeal to anyone.
Even though my favourite Indian food in general is saag paneer, that is their weakest link here. It tastes like pre-frozen spinach that was blended and cooked. Yikes.

However, everything else is perfection.
Their samosas are really good. I really enjoy their palak paneer and goat curry. Their butter chicken is one of the best I've tasted. Channa and daal are also really tasty. Their tandoori chicken is perfectly spiced.

Sometimes they serve onions rings and fries where they keep the pakoras. They're good but I'm there for authentic Indian, not Americanised food.

They used to not have much of a dessert selection but now they have one. It's not my favourite and I usually skip dessert here entirely.

India's taste has great AYCE food and even better prices. Definitely something to try if you're in the area.

I met up with a couple of friends at this AYCE Indian restaurant.  They serve both veggies and meat items.  They have all kinds of curries including lamb, and chicken as well as an assortment of paneers and pulaos.  For Tandoori items they have both chicken and fish.  A couple of dishes that stood out for me was their butter chicken and aloo gobhi as well as their lamb curry.  Curries are best eaten with their rice and naan.  Like all other Indian places, I was not able to finish more than two plates of food.  For whatever reason, my stomach just stopped after two rounds even though the mind was willing.  Overall, the quality and service was excellent.

India's Taste is hidden within a factory and industrial area in Markham. From the outside it may look like nothing fancy and even once you walk in, you won't find anything fancy about it. In comparison to a place like the Host, I'd say it is far from it!

The food here is what keeps customers coming back for more. They offer a variety of indian dishes and they had everything I was craving such as butter chicken, dhaal curry (chickpea curry). They offer both vegetarian and meat dishes and the price isn't bad at all. This buffet place may be small, but it's a great place to try if you're looking for Indian buffet in Markham.

Look, it's a buffet and sweet shop. No different than you'd find dozens of in Brampton or Mississauga. But this is in Markham and it's in an industrial area, off the main road, not near any other restaurants. However, there is a reason that whenever you go, lunch or dinner there are lots of people in there and often you're waiting in line for a table.

Atmosphere:

Nothing to cry home about, but it has tables and a decent selection at the buffet and a good choice of sweets.

Food:

Lots of the staple items, fresh naan, and many lentil, deep fried, and other dishes that you can expect from an Indian restaurant. Fresh. Delicious.

Price:

Very affordable and great value for between $12 - $20 depending on if you go lunch or dinner. Includes fresh made Naan, and all you can eat obviously.

Ridiculously affordable and delicious. The hot out of the oven naan is divine. Puffy pieces with charred sides that easily mop up that leftover butter chicken sauce on your plate.  My favourites: pappadum, mutton tawa, tender tandoori chicken, daal tadka.  The spice level is tame (although first timers should be armed with a sweet or salty lassi).Do not forget to save room for dessert. Gajar Ka Halwa (carrot pudding) is addictively good.  A little goes a long way-- as the sweet levels are off the charts. It is a buffet -- lunch is 11.99$ and dinner is only 14.99$ insane, I know. (I think it is an extra dollar on the weekends)Service is friendly and prompt. It is off of steeles and warden... not too difficult to find.

Delicious!. We had come here on New Year’s Eve at around 7:00 pm, which happened to be a Wednesday evening. When we arrived, there were a few people at the front ahead of us therefore, we had to wait a few moments to be served. When the lady at the front greeted us once it was our turn, she asked how many people would be dining for the evening; we responded with three. The lady then left for a few moments in order to find a table suitable for our party. She came back immediately, then told us that we could choose any of the tables in the far-back right-hand corner. We went to the back and found a booth which was empty. We then settled into the booth, and headed for the buffet tables as we were starving by that point.

We noticed that there were three different buffet tables, with each table filled with a variety of items, which included vegetarian and non-vegetarian options. For my first dish, I started with the Shahi Paneer, mixed in with Chicken Biryani. The Shahi Paneer had a wonderful taste, with delicious sauce intermixed with the chicken. The Chicken Biryani was also delicious, with flavourful rice mixed with large pieces of seasoned chicken. I sprinkled the sauce from the Shahi Paneer on the rice from the Chicken Biryani, which made the rice taste even juicer. I also chose a Samosa, which was crunchy and hot (temperature wise) however, not spicy hot, which made it much more edible.

When I sat back down at the booth after grabbing my first plate, one of the servers (there were a few whom served our table however, none of them introduced themselves) handed us a basket of Naan Bread. We then had to wait another ten minutes before we were able to find someone else to take our beverage order. It may be beneficial to have complimentary water placed on the table as soon as the customers take their seats as we were quite thirsty looking for someone as we were eating. Nevertheless, we dove right into our meals, which were as scrumptious as ever.

Everything was cooked fresh, with the temperature just perfect, and the spices mild, which is what we liked. For my second dish, I settled on the Chaat Papri, with all of the fixings. I loved that the chips for the Chaat Papri were loose, which allowed for me to take as many as I wanted, and to drizzle any kind of sauce over them. I also grabbed some French Fries, which were hot and fresh, tasting as though they had just come out of the deep fryer. The yogurt for the Chaat Papri was cool to the touch, and creamy, which made the chips taste even better.

For my third dish, I settled on the Plain White Rice with Butter Chicken. Once again, the sauces from the Butter Chicken mixed well with the Plain White Rice, making both items taste just as I desired them to taste, with little spice. We enjoyed how our Naan Bread baskets were filled up often by the servers whom came by. We thought that the service here was pretty good, and definitely attentive in regards to the Naan Bread compared to other restaurants.

For dessert, I was beyond stuffed however, I wanted to taste the Gulab Jamun, which is one item that I can’t walk away from when dining at an Indian restaurant. The Gulab Jamun was as expected; sweet, with just the perfect amount of texture which fit perfectly into my mouth. I also noticed that there about six flavours of ice cream available, with other desserts available to purchase by the pound. I was tempted to try the ice cream however, I knew that there was only so much food I could handle, and that I had reached my limit.

When we were finished, we had asked one of our servers for the bill. We were told that we had to go up to the front to pay for the bill. When we arrived at the front, we were told that it would be $56 for the three of us, which was $15.99 per person. We were astonished at how good of a price that buffet cost us, definitely something that is hard to find elsewhere. We paid for our bill, then were wished a happy new year by the kind woman at the front.

Of all the Indian buffet restaurants that I had been to, this one was definitely the best, complete with the perfect amount of food, all tasting delicious, along with good service, and an atmosphere complete with comfort. Will DEFINITELY be back to this location, or would like to give the location in Brampton a try to see if there is any difference between the two.

Inexpensive, good value and decent food. I've dined at many Indian restaurants before and this is one of the places that I would recommend. There are many varieties to choose from and the quality is decent. It is not the best curry I had but given the price they charge I can't complain. The curry is not very strong, chicken is a bit dry but the naan is very fresh and warm. They have a lot of dessert available too. Would recommend it to others if you look for decent inexpensive Indian food.

Best indian buffet. This is my favourite Indian buffet for lunch because of the diverse selection of different meat dishes, desserts etc.. Usually other Indian buffets cheap out and offer more vegetarian dishes over the meat. Or you have to hunt for chicken scraps in an ocean of daal, not here. Everything is fresh, plentiful and tastes great. They have everything: chaat, pakora, gol guppe. for a very good price.. The naan's are freshly delivered to you warm in a basket.. It's the best Indian buffet out there. You cannot go wrong for lunch. For under $12 it is the best value you can get!

I ate all I could eat!. My friend recommended this place - it's her favorite restaurant for indian food. So I invited my other friend to come with me from downtown and drive up to Markham just to enjoy all you can eat buffet for a better price than other buffets (for dinner).

The service was just "ok" - certainly not super friendly and smiley, but despite a busy crowd, we still got the service we needed and never found ourselves searching for anyone (waters came regularly and our dirty plates got taken away fairly quickly).

The food was so amazing and the naan bread was freshly made and probably the best I've ever had! The friend I went with goes to Indian restaurants in Toronto a lot, and he said although it's not the best Indian food in general, it's the best buffet he's had, and especially for the price for a dinner. I'm only disappointed I didn't bring my camera to capture the awesome paneer! :)

This is my favourite restaurant in Markham, the one thing you will notice is how great of a value this place is. For $11 you get some of the best Indian food. I go here exclusively for the Butter Chicken and Naan. I have converted a few friends to Indian cuisine thanks to this place.Without exaggeratio, this place has the best naan I have ate in the GTA. Try their Chaana Masala. Food is always fresh and great desserts as well. The place you need to take first timers, it always delivers the finest in quality, a must try.
