I had the chicken panini. It was very filling and tastes great. My friends enjoyed their meals as well. We did not wait long to be served. The restaurant is clean and cozy. The staff were very friendly. Will make sure to stop here again anytime I come back to Marathon.
The good: fresh ingredients and definitely home made items to be had, which is a lovely change when you're on the road and getting fast food so much!
The bad: if you're getting items to go back to a hotel, double check you have cutlery and seasonings as many of the items were pretty bland, but I can appreciate that it would be more inclusive to customers who are restrictive of some items. Overall, despite having to eat items with our hands and coffee sticks and it was kinda bland and had me wishing i travelled with salt, it was good food and im sure eating in the restaurant would be a phenomenal experience
Thanks to Google reviews, I was able to find this restaurant. Traveling from thunder bay to Sault ste Marie...we needed to find a place to eat on a trip seemingly void of choices
We were glad to find this restaurant. There is no sign on the outside of the building indicating this is a restaurant though.
Each meal is made to order. One group behind us was told it would be an hour to get food because of multiple tables before them in queue.
There is one table in the back with a reserved sigh .. it's reserved for groups of 6 or more.
One waitress, very friendly and prompt.
