Hansel and Gretel Bakery offers a good variety of yummy gluten friendly and vegan pastries. They had a few sample macarons (cut in half) out on the counters for tasting, and I indulged myself with two pieces right on the spot…. So I bought two green onion and cheddar bannocks, one brownie, one raw chocolate hazelnut bite, one oatmeal chocolate cookie, and finally one macaron.
I'm so very happy that this cute little bakery opened in the heart of Maple Ridge! Finally, a place where my sweet cravings can go to. Their macarons are so delicious and the size of it is definitely worth it -- unlike the ones in Vancouver that are hyped up and way over priced. Not only are the macarons tasty, I'd say almost all of their baked goods are amazingly well made. They're all not too sweet and what's great is that they're all reasonably priced! Hansel and Gretel, you just got yourselves one loyal customer here! 💚❤

Hansel & Gretel bakery has been open for a few months in Maple Ridge. They are making baked goods (sweet & savoury). I noticed in the menu at Big Feast Bistro that they use buns from this bakery for some of their sandwiches and burgers. The staff at Big Feast told us they were located just around the corner and we should check them out to see their treats. So we did! The wife of the general manager at Big Feast owns this bakery. I love how both establishments support each other. How sweet!
