A unique restaurant in Malakwa based in a old beehive burner from the 70s. Interior built of solid wood beams and looks great. As a upstairs level that I didn't visit. Food is basic greasy spoon favorites did well. Good selection of local microbrewery beers. Good and friendly service. Got my food very quickly. Good place for lunch or a couple brews before heading to the campsite.
It was a real treat to find really good food on the #1. Nice service. Nicely finished inside. Long list of beer on tap. Choose the Burner next time you go by!

Fabulous characterfull building along the highway nestled in the mountains. Friendly service and many references to buildings heritage and local history. Burgers are great and the fries are to DIE FOR! Nice surprise for travellers
While driving through BC, we couldn’t help but noticing a giant burner. When we realized it was a restaurant, we knew we were eating at The Burner . Soon, this restaurant will be featured on Food Networks You Gotta Eat Here and hopefully will be sharing their wonderful food to everyone. As I was in the area for the Salmon Run, I thought I should be eating Salmon… so I ordered their Blackened Pan Seared Sockeye Salmon with a side of smoked corn. I saw it on the menu for one of their condiments but really wanted some – so I asked for them. The salmon was definitely blackened as it was a little burnt, but not enough for it to be bitter or gross – so it was nice. The corn was amazing, you can definitely taste the smoked flavour in it and the entire meal was just awesome!
Have been driving by this place for years and have always wanted to stop and check it out. I wasn't disappointed.
The food was great and service was excellent. The hamburger patties and fries were home made not frozen.

We were camping nearby and needed dinner out - the Burner Grille does not disappoint! We all had fried chicken and fries, the chicken was crispy and delicious, the fries plentiful and yummy. The serving staff were very sweet. The kitchen was a bit slow it seemed, we did wait quite a while to eat, so don’t be in a hurry. The decor is really fun which gave us a lot to look at while we waited. 😃
Been driving by for almost ever. Finally, had a chance to stop in for a bite. Menu inside does not match whats on the web site. 3 of us enjoyed our homemade burgers , good sized side salad and frys. A tasty soup and grilled cheese with bacon filled the spot for our fourth diner. Lots to look at and decent service with resonable prices.
Cool spot if you plan to stop for lunch on your drive
Our food was very good! Our waitress was extremely friendly and helpful, even with my picky ordering. I was so happy I decided to stop in and try this place.
