I live in Winnipeg, Manitoba and love shopping at Avril stores while visiting the province of Quebec. So during my short stay in Magog last May, this store was first on my list. Avril stores offer variety of high quality good tasting foods and a very friendly atmosphere. The prices are quite comparable to the prices at other grocery stores, so why not to have a great experience at Avril? Highly recommend.

This is a supermarket that offers high quality product. The place is clean and tidy. The staff can speak English too. Their freshly brewed coffee is something that you dont want to miss!

The selection of vegan meat substitutes, vegan cheeses and organic produce is amazing, and so are the prices! I filled my cart to the brim and was expecting to pay a fortune, but it turned out to be less than my regular grocery bill. This place is a real gem!

the 4 stars is because of the great service I received from SOME staff; the lovely Violaine in the natural supplements section provided amazing advice. I'm so thankful for her details, others on the floor were helpful as well and the store is well stocked. I bought a GF chocolate cake for my Dad's birthday and it was amazing. On the negative side: the produce is rather expensive and limited (I wonder why they can't get organic produce from local farmers) and a couple cash ladies treat you as if you know how they function... and like you're bothering them to be at the cash. When I went to the cash my first ever visit, I entered the area from the bakery and didn't see that there was a place where I was supposed to wait (the sign was not visible from where I entered). They treated me like I was doing something wrong. I recommend some customer service training/coaching for the cash ladies or hire someone who's pleasant and kind.

I love that this store is almost fully organic! We went to the closest Tesla Supercharger Station to where I was out of obvious necessity and found this Avril Store right where the stations are which is awesome because we left the car to charge up and went shopping for groceries. I wish there was an Avril store closer to where I live but there aren't any though we do have others close to this in Montreal!

One of the best, healthiest and my favourite supermarket in Quebec! There's organic food, fresh and quite lots of choices! Definately highly recommande! Don't miss it when you visit Quebec 😊😊😊
