Food is delicious! We lived in Germany quite a long time and it's amazing. Service was also wonderful although they need a bit of help on busy evenings. We were not in a rush so no impact on our visit. Vielen dank!

Incredible breakfast!! We regularly have a delicious dinner here too, but first time coming for breakfast. Delicious and unique! Best breakfast you can find locally.

What a lovely day we had celebrating our son’s 26th birthday this evening with reservations at The Old Black Forest Restaurant; and as usual, it was amazing! It was our son’s first time since he’d been away at university most times we’ve gone. He was anxious to try it out and as soon as he was home

We made a reservation and thank goodness all the tables inside were gone. Lots of patio space. Service was good and fast. Food was very good. Comfy home cooking.

In a region that traditionally lacks variety of food options, the Old Black Forest Restaurant was an oasis of delicious German fare. We tried the jager schnitzel which was delightful and black forest cake which is not typically my first choice but was delicious here. Would recommend!

Got the black forest cake. I wasn't impressed at all. It had a very bland taste. But then, I had it after about 2-3 hours of purchasing it. Not sure if that affected the texture. But an absolutely bland taste. Wasn't worth the money.

Had dinner with my parents and daughter to celebrate my parents 62nd anniversary. From the point of making the reservation, to the meal it was incredible. Great authentic food, reasonable prices, and great service. We will be back
