When I'm in this part of the city, try to stop by for the fresh Pita's and Pita Chips. I love that it's both a bakery and restaurant. Admittedly it's not my favourite Shawarma, but it's good, totally worth having if you too are stopping by for the Pita's and Chips.
Awesome Little Place. Great food, value, and service. They home make all their breads.
Pleasantly surprised. Went here for the first time last weekend and had a chicken shawarma. It was delicious and cheap, a phenomenal combination. It was my first shawarma so perhaps I'm not the best judge, but I thoroughly enjoyed what I ate. The service was friendly and promt, exactly what one would expect from a family owned business.
I will definetely be back.
Loved the chicken fattoush and the pockets are very tasty. Service is very friendly a hidden gem
Best shawarma in town. This is a family run business. They're always pleasant and polite. They can get busy in peak hours but it's worth the wait. Portion sizes are great and the prices are fair. My favourite is the chicken schawarma in a bowl (rather than the pita).
Stopped in for some fresh pitas and grabbed a chicken shawarma. Staff was amazing, gave me a falafel to try while I waited. Easily best shawarma I've ever had. I'll be telling anyone who will listen.
chicken shawarma:
chicken was a bit dry and overcooked, but he loaded it up and gave lots of toppings. Overall a pretty solid shawarma. Chicken was well seasoned with cumin, in case that turns you off. Experience was good enough that i'll be going back.
They Have These Unique Panzerotti's That Are delicious !! I ordered One Thinking they Would Ask me what toppings I Wanted but they Don't. it's A Panzerotti With Chicken, Spinach ,Cheese And tomato sauce .I Loved Them !! The Dough tastes Really Soft And fresh.
Great pita bread and chips. Toum is delicious! The hot food I had was pretty good. Can range a bit in quality and freshness depending on what time you go. Overall great value and run by friendly people!
Friday's is a honestly authentic pita bakery. The staff are very down to earth and very nice. The main business is the pita bakery, however they also serve an outrageously delicious shawarma. After I was recommended this place by a coworker I no longer go anywhere else for shawarma. Make sure you check the hours before you go however. They are a bakery and as such are only open until 6 most days (excluding Fridays).
I got lunch here once and it was pretty good. The other items you can buy here are pretty great too. The baklava was just amazing. I'm not sure if they make it in-house or if it's made by a third party, but it was delicious.
What a pleasure meeting the owner and the staff of Fridays Pita Bakery. I ordered for an event of almost 200 people and everyone had a lot of great things to say about the food. Great staff, pleasant, friendly, and very helpful. Spinach and potato fattaier were delicious. Zatar manayeesh were excellent. The place is clean and has varieties of ethnic food. I wish my family and friends had known about this place years ago, but now they do and I’m certain that they have their lists of orders for future events. Thank you so much for all your help. You did a fantastic job by accommodating me even in the last minutes. I’m so grateful for your kindness.
Friday's is my favourite shawarma place in London. The portions are large and the prices are low. They have great daily specials too! Highly recommend!
