For starters we had the Arayes, a pita bread stuffed with minced meat, along with the Maustkhiar, a yogurt cucumber dip. For the main meal we had the Koobideh Kebab as well as the Chicken Kebab. The rice portions with both of them are huge, so my advice would be to get half rice and half salad, and their Fatoush Salad is good. The Koobideh is a nice skewer of minced beef with a hint of herbs. The service is good and you get the feel of a nice little place in an alley in Tehran. As everyone knows I relish desserts, and the walnut baklava over here is a nice option to culminate a nice evening out.

Ordered Sultani Kabab, Lamb Shank, and platter for four. The meat was super good, it was juicy and tender. This is one of the finest restaurants I have been to, that has so good kabab and Lamb. The service was quick and their garlic sauce is by far the best I've tasted. You'll definitely want some at your home too. Overall, it's a must visit if you're in London.

Very nice surprise. Average from outside but food and service were excellent. Meal for 2 was tasty. The meat was delicious, tender and spiced to perfection. There was lots of rice, hummus and pitas.

An amazing dining experience! We went there from Bloomington, Indiana, US, for a family visit, and the food was outstanding. I tried the chicken kabab, shishlik, and Greek salad - all were delightful. My experience was fantastic, and I highly recommend giving it a try. The food speaks for itself, and who knows, the new ownership might have brought positive changes. A worthwhile visit!

I made the mistake of getting the Shawarma maybe a decade ago, and that didn't go well. Recently I decided to try them again and wow, fantastic Kebabs! They still have shawarma, but it's hidden on the back page of the menu. Avoid it, and go with the Kebabs. I'm hooked on the Salari combo, which gives you beef (hamburger) and chicken kebabs on a bed of saffron rice (or salad). Delicious.

Partner and I have gone here several times for lunch and would have no problem returning. The restaurant sits in a strip plaza under the long shadow of Canada's first McDonalds outlet.<br/>The restaurant interior is simple with a kind of diner look. Let me say first that most Persian food I have had was not heavily seasoned and that is why you are provided with seasoning. We had the kabobs on rice beds, lemon soup, and with side Caesar salads. Both meals were hot and tasty and served quickly. It's not gourmet but healthier than McDonalds and worth the visit.

I've been to this place twice, once because I was curious of the cuisine. I was disappointed. But not having learned my lesson, went in there for a second time, as I'm a sucker for punishment. I have sampled all kinds of ethnic food. I don't get this food. The food is bland beyond explanation. I even tried it in Sri Lanka at Shiraz (separate review done a couple of years ago), but even they fell through. The only conclusion I can come to is, these people eat tasteless bland food. Visit if you like to mention that you've sampled Persian food. But don't go if you are hungry and looking for a satisfying meal.

Tehran Restaurant Khaneh Kabob. Well the food was not really what I expected. The Shirazi Salad was all cucumber and very little of tomato and onion. The rice was overcooked and it seemed like it was a very cheap brand, not the usual light fluffly basmati rice, that was very famous from the previous owners, the koobideh kabob for the price they charge could have been a larger portion. Chicken seemed like it was bought at a discount super store and tasted like cardboard. Their yogurt drink was good, <br/>All in all will not be returning to this restaurant.

Little taste of home. As a Persian kid from Toronto used to mom's cooking, moving to london was a bit tough. This place has brought me a little taste of home. Great food, ambiance isn't particularly impressive, but the food makes up for it.

We Eat There A Lot. Not the greatest ambiance, but the food is consistently good! We usually order half fries (they are crispy and delicious...have to find out how they make them) and half salad with our meals. Staff is very pleasant! Try the bagali polo (lamb shank). My standby is their koobideh kabab with half (greek) salad and fries.

Best Soup in London. Just turned up here after a snow squall in the London area and wanted something to warm me up. Turned out to be a great idea, because this<br/>was the best Lentil soup (served with fresh pita and lemon wedges) I have<br/>ever tasted. A winner- I will be back for more!

One of the BEST in London. Go there all the time. Affordable. Fresh. Great Salads. Lamb shank is amazing, rice is tasty, kebobs are cooked well but not dry. You cannot go wrong eating here, and I will always go back to this place for some home cooked goodness.
