Came across this place a month ago.
Real fresh chicken in the burgers unlike McDonald's.
Reasonably price.
Good location.
Friendly.
The food is good but they should give you the necessities i.e tubs aka ketchup and things and forks and well they give tissues but yeah but they do call you even if you're outside the shop and you can, idk they're always friendly, at nighttime the person with the glasses is jokes, jokes guy ever. The chicken has the best texture and the best optimum temperature and taste, if people understand that better than kfc down the road.
Friendly and welcoming, chicken is always good. Fried chicken and chips FTW on those days when you want to treat yourself.
Well folks, it's official - I am now addicted to something called chicken sweats. And it's all thanks to my recent visit to Highbury's Chicken & Grill Basement, where I met the one and only Sem, who served up some seriously delicious fried chicken.
For those of you who don't know, chicken sweats are a real thing. It's when you eat so much fried chicken that you start to sweat profusely, but you can't stop eating because it's just that good (or maybe just don't go with the Family Pack, especially when your with your flexitarian homies).
But even though I may be a bit sweaty and chicken-drunk right now, I have no regrets. Highbury's Chicken & Grill Basement is the real deal, and Sem is the MVP of the operation who magically produced a Pepsi from the basement to help me wash it all down. So if you're in the mood for some seriously addictive fried chicken (and don't mind a bit of sweat), head on over and give Sem a high-five for me.
New and needed chicken shop in the area! Very clean and smart. Solid portion sizes and prices you expect from your local chicken shop. Food quality was great, and good portion of mayo in the chicken burger.
Staff were extremely friendly and positive - really hope they do well.
Before visiting this restaurant, I wondered if the reviews were really justified. From having tried their wonderful chicken, I can say that they absolutely are! Excellent selection, delicious succulent chicken and friendly service. Highly recommended!
Needed a carb fix to soak up the numerous beers consumed on a night out in the city. The fries were awesome, tasted much better than the golden arches. Definitely avoided the hunger prangs. Next time I'll try the chicken..
Very fast and friendly service with amazing fried chicken, fries & coleslaw. Thx for extra CapriSun’s boss. When we eat this meal in the park every dog was coming to us, im not supriseted with them😄
This place is brilliant. A welcomed neighbour to our busy street. Super clean, everything is nice and new. PLUS the food is really good and well priced. A true favourite that’s here to stay! Thank you!
